If you are looking for someone who specializes in dry cutting or hairstyling in general I highly recommend this place and seeing Mickey! He’s very talented and knows exactly what he’s doing! District hair studio will be my go to from now on. This gem of a salon is hidden in the plaza right by Keele and Rutherford. I highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience for the 2 times I have visited for a balayage with Preya and more recently a hair cut with Mickey. The staff are all super welcoming and kind and I always feel pampered during and after my visit!! Mickey is amazing and really talented with cutting and more importantly shaping hair, he gave my fine straight hair more volume and shape and this is the only place where I can blindly trust the stylist!
If you need a professional, trustworthy hair stylist that makes you feel like a million bucks during and after your visit, I highly recommend the district hair studio!!

I visited District Hair salon yesterday, and all I can say is wow, from the atmosphere to the work everything was friendly and amazing. Mickey and Sydney were the ones doing my hair yesterday and I’ve never felt so happy looking in the mirror. They really made me feel comfortable and pretty at the same time. If you are looking for a place where you won’t feel out of place and a place that’ll make you feel beautiful by the end of it I really recommend you try district hair salon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'll start this review by saying I'm 35 yrs old and this is the first time I've walked out of a salon actually loving my cut and style. Mickey is amazing, he listens to you and cuts your hair based on the type of hair you have. It's a curated experience. This is the best cut I've ever received, it falls so well (not the curtain look, with the basic layer cut I used to always end up getting). If you're still contemplating whether or not to try him out, do it! I was glad I did.

He knew exactly what I wanted without me explaining anything to him and it was the best haircut and hair salon experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was also very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back. Thanks to this salon, my hair will look its best for my graduation pictures :)
