★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is for my haircut experience with a female hairdresser at this salon. I was given a name when I had made an appointment but she never introduced herself to me. I sat on that chair and did not know what hit me after I left the salon. Appointment started late, hair got pulled all directions, hairbrushes left hanging in my hair instead of using clips to hold my hair when blow drying. Hairbrush left in when styling as she forgot to see the hairbrush dangling from my hair. Then she asked me if she needed to fix my layers, isn't it her job? The haircut was simple for the price I paid. Left with an experience that she did not care if I returned or not. It felt like it was an appointment she needed to get through somehow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this salon. I have been to many other hairdressers in the past, and Tony is by far the best! Tony and his staff are all very friendly, and I always feel at home whenever I get my hair done. I read a few of the negative comments prior to writing this review, and I was actually quite shocked that “Studio One” received two 1 star reviews - In my opinion that’s impossible, as I always walk out of this salon feeling like a million bucks. I love this salon so much that I drive over an hour just to get my hair done. For anyone new reading these reviews, please disregard the negative comments and book an appointment and see for yourself – you won’t be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time going to Studio One Salon because I was referred by a friend and it’s safe to say that I will not be returning. From the start of my appointment, which mind you was a consultation, I felt as though something was off. Nonetheless, the appointment carried on and I was explaining to her in the best way I could, what I wanted done to my hair, while also wanting a professional opinion. She clearly began to get frustrated with me and continuously told me that I was not making sense. I went there with the intention that if there was something that could be done, we would do it since that’s what I was told when I spoke to her prior to my appointment. However, when there, she told me that I did not book for a colour so I would have to schedule another day. From there, we agreed on simply washing and applying a toner to my hair for colour correction. While I was getting in the seat for my hair to be washed, she said “this is probably the top 3 most complicated and worst consultations ever”, safe to say I was startled, not to mention completely uncomfortable. She started to blow dry my hair and not even half way through I asked her to stop so I was able to leave and pay. Due to this insanely rude encounter and horrible first experience after hearing such good things, I will not be going back.
