Reception staff always have a bad attitude (why hire onto a customer service positions if they don’t enjoy being friendly or servicing customers?), unhelpful with questions, and you cannot do anything without a phone appointment first which might take you 5 days to get, then be prepared to wait another week for an in-person appointment.

Really need to improve their reception/accountability. They have no answering machine and don’t check emails. I had a phone call appointment booked and they failed to call me and never followed up. I had to call back to reschedule the appointment myself and they had no urgency about it. I had to push and push for them to actually make me an appointment for the next day (a week and a half after I was supposed to have the initial call). It’s been 2 days since the doctor said she’d send my prescription in and after calling the pharmacy, I’ve realized she still hasn’t sent it. I have enough meds to last the next 3 days. The last time I missed a day of my meds I got an insane headache and felt exhausted and if I have to do that again it’ll be on them. Would really appreciate if they could improve on their communication skills and follow through with patients.

Appointment was at 1:15 pm and we came in at 1 pm they said oh no your appointment was at 1:40 so I said I’ll come back and then she was like no wait I’ll send you in about but have been waiting foe an hour now and they’re like oh sorry we had to send another patient before you.

Reception staff need more training in their protocols and customer service. I imagine they are busy, but there is no need to be rude on the phone or in-person as they usually are. I go to this clinic to see my family doctor. Whenever I go to pick a prescription or a requisition, it seems that I'm annoying them, making them waste their time. I also received a call once from the clinic on a Sunday morning around 8am to book an "urgent" appointment with my doctor. I was obviously scared due to the timing of the call (I didn't even know they open early on Sundays) and the "emergency" part. They couldn't give me more details and also couldn't give me an appointment soon. I had to wait for few days to find out what was wrong. It turn out to be a regular follow up appointment, no urgency, no need to call me on a Sunday morning and worry me like that! If the receptionist arrives early to their work place on weekends ,they could still wait for more decent hours to call about non-urgent matters (and avoid using "urgent" if it's not). It would be appreciated.

Absolute Terrible service. Never had a good experience here, the head receptionist is incredibly rude every time. I would recommend finding another clinic if you live in the west end.

Very poor customer service. Reception staff Lasera Dmello told me I can come before 6:30PM and when I came at 5:30 told me to come back because the Doctor is no longer accepting patients. She gave the wrong instructions and did not take responsibility for it. She was smug and rude. I reported it to her supervisor, who treated me the same way, because she doesn't want front counter staff to leave.

I've had excellent care here from Dr. Mills, Dr. Liu, and Dr. Henning. All outstanding doctors who are very thorough and kind. For those whining about reception, this is a busy clinic, not a Cactus Club, and receptionists are very busy. A bit of courtesy goes a long way. Outstanding medical care here, and I can confidently recommend this clinic.

I absolutely love my family doctor (Dr. Heydari) and she has always had fantastic compassion and taken her time to fully investigate my health concerns... but this clinic no longer allows me to book an in-person appointment with her without scheduling a phone consultation first, no matter the nature of my appointment nor how urgent my visit. My previous phone consult was for wrist pain. Of course my doctor could not diagnose the reason without an exam, and our phone call was all of 2 minutes before being told to call back and book an in-person appointment. My consult today is due to some returning symptoms of a serious incident in my medical history, but even after notifying reception of my risk level, I've had to wait days for a phone consultation, and am now taking additional time off of work and missing important business meetings because phone calls from this clinic are "always 1-1.5 hours late" (as per their receptionist). I don't feel I can rely on this clinic to let me past the iron gates to see my GP any longer.
