★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I originally went with Dan's Appliance Repair because of all of the great reviews! But boy, was I wrong. The technicians that came (I believe one was Dan himself) were extremely rude! They ordered me around without a single "please" or "thank you". They were also very unprepared even though I gave them all of the information a full day ahead of time. I was charged for the labour cost of both technicians even though all they did was spend 90% of their time googling the error code that I previously sent them. After the issue was "fixed", I was told that the error was due to some loose wires. However, immediately after they left, I ran the washing cycle and the SAME error code appeared. NOTHING WAS FIXED! I even took the issue into my own hands and googled the code and fixed it myself. NOTE: the issue was NOT loose wires. My machine needed a new part which I ordered and installed myself.
I asked for a refund but I was bounced around and ignored for days until finally I was told they would only refund MOST the labour cost (not even the full amount) and that were not willing to refund the travel cost or service call charges. Up until now been 6 business days and I have still yet to see a refund.
This service is a total scam and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I can give less than 1 star I would smh. He told me a price over the phone, as well as a diagnosis. He arrives at my home takes one look at me, gets a phone call and proceeds with his phone call outside of my door, which I thought was very disrectful. Then goes to my fridge sees that my door is broken and changed his diagnosis and proceeds to charge almost a thousand dollars. In total he was in and out of my house within 10 mins upon arriving, fixing nothing and I still had to pay him for wasting my time. I've had a lot of issues in Peterborough when it comes to service and how you're treated based off of what you look like. Based off of my experience wouldn't refer him to anyone I know.
