The bin was delivered and picked up no problem, but after storing it for a month it was supposed to be delivered to our new address and they canceled on us the day before our move. No other moving companies were available on that short notice so we had no choice but to transfer all the contents into a rented uhaul truck and drive it up island ourselves. We were prepared to forgive for this, but despite confirming three times by phone that we would have access to our bin, when we arrived it was not accessible and there was no office or staff to help us. Our calls to Storage Vault, the Quebec based company that runs Cubeit and the only available phone number, went unanswered. We had to ask a neighboring company to forklift the bin out for us and luckily they were kind enough to help. We left multiple voice mails and never heard back, and we have had no response to our emails to the manager we had been in contact with. They did cover some of our costs, but we're not impressed that they are ignoring all our attempts to contact them. We don't want anybody else to go through this incredibly frustrating experience so would recommend going with one of the local companies that would hopefully be more reliable and have better customer service.

Having the cube delivered to us in a timely manner so we could take our time loading it, having it picked up to be stored for two weeks and then having it delivered right to our new home to be unloaded at our own pace! We will NEVER move any other way again. Thank you so much for your friendly and speedy service !

They will undersell you on the amount of space you need, and then you will be caught last minute making other arrangements for the rest of your stuff. And don't expect great communication from them. From a mishmash of micro billing (designed to confuse you and overcharge you) to not being able to coordinate internally (every time I called I got a different story). I used two of their pods for a cross country move, they left the second one sitting in my driveway for 2 weeks after it was empty and scheduled to be picked up. It wasn't until I told them I was charging them rent for my driveway that it got picked up, and SURPRISE, they charged me an extra months rent! Should have used BigSteelBox, would have been cheaper in the end.

Needless to say, such a big move is stressful, but I have been very pleased with Cubit. Nathan did an excellent job in Ontario getting the move under way. In Victoria, Brett has also been professional and helpful. All of my belongings made the trip in perfect condition. I am confident that my storage unit is safe at the very secure yard in Victoria, until It is trucked to my new home. I would most definitely recommend Cubit because of the competitive price and professional, responsible work of the staff.

Friendly staff on the phone when booking, and Brett who delivered and picked up the container was absolutely fabulous. He is friendly, professional and incredibly skilled with the Hiab loader crane.
