It took us a while to save up for the system and Shift was great about educating me on the pros and cons of different design decisions (e.g. microinverter vs string+optimizers). We signed the contract this summer (2021) and Shift was able to work with our busy schedule to get the system installed within about 1 month. The installation was fast, clean, and efficient. The contract process was professional and the installation team was very detailed focused, and kept me informed on options for installation as we went, as well as providing good recommendations. Really happy with how our system ended up looking, and performing so far. We are considering adding additional panels to the system in the near future, and Shift has provided us with a future expansion plan. Thanks to the Shift Team for all their hard work.

We thought it was worth investigating since we were getting a new roof, but figured it would probably be too expensive. Well, the cost was lower than we expected and the benefit was higher! The whole process was very easy and painless to get a quote and then work together to refine it into the best possible solution for our situation. We got four quotes and Shifts was the most comprehensive, best warranty, and cheapest price too. Communication was prompt and excellent. Everyone I talked to was professional and knowledgeable and collaborative. Install was quick and easy and they went above and beyond by coming early one morning to shut off the power while I was dropping the kids off at school so I'd be able to work from home for the rest of the day. We are very happy overall and are highly recommending Shift Energy Group to anyone and everyone we talk to!
J	Jim Henshaw on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shift Energy installed a 24 panel array for me in June. Outside of offering coffee to the crew, all I had to do was sit back and enjoy the experience. But the interesting part comes later, after all the neighbors have come over to gasp as they watch your Hydro meter run backwards, you simply forget that the panels are up there. I mean, seriously, how often in a given week do you even look up at your roof? It's like there's this amazing change that you don't even notice -- until your first utility bill arrives. Mine was $7 instead of the usual several hundred. And it just keeps on like that. Shift Energy made me very happy. I'm certain they'll do the same for you.

Shift exceeded expectations for us by any measure. The system they designed and installed for us (residential rooftop solar) came in ahead of schedule, on budget, and with minimal imposition on us. Within about a business day after I requested a quote, Shift called me to discuss options and expertly answered a number of questions I had. They generated a quote for a proposed solar system, and promptly accommodated several requests and changes we had - all without any complaint. They also provided a very helpful roadmap for steps in the process, took care of signing up for net-metering with BC Hydro, and helped us navigate the process for seeking government incentives. On the installation date, the installation crew were fast, courteous, and very respectful. The installation crew even answered our three year-old's questions about how the system works! Throughout the whole process, everyone at Shift were extremely responsive and professional. The whole process could not have been more painless. And, if you are skeptical of reviews you read on the internet: when considering solar panels for our house, I did a fair amount of research and selected Shift for a number of reasons. I approached Shift's favourable customer reviews with a grain of salt, because there's no way of knowing whether a customer review comes from real people. For what it's worth, the glowing customer reviews I reviewed accurately predicted the experience we would have with Shift.
