Loved this place and their service. I got shellac manicure and pedicure with regular polish. Booking appointment over the phone was easy. The receptionist was kind and helpful and understood my requirements precisely. Before I arrived, my station was ready (sweet). They practiced all Covid precautions. The next customer was seated 2 chairs away from me and there were plexiglass shields between each station. Place was ventilated to eliminate polish odor which is so common in nail salons. They had a different and easy technique of removing gel polish unlike most of the other salons. Plus they’re totally pocket-friendly ? would return for sure.

I inquired about a last minute gel manicure with overlay ($55) and they were able to fit me in which I appreciate very much. The male receptionist and my nail esthetician Hanh has fabulous customer service and the staff is great. The first thing that I noticed when I walked into the salon was the toxic smell of nail polish. I know it’s a nail salon, but I have also been to nail salons where there’s no toxic smell of nail polish. There appears to be no ventilation or fans. Also, the lighting is very bad in the salon. It’s so dim that it makes it difficult to see an accurate nail polish colour on your hands. See the pictures below (pic on the left hand side is my actual colour vs. pic on right which is what I wanted). The hinge on the individual desk lamp that my nail esthetician had kept moving so she had to keep adjusting my hand around to apply the gel colour so it wasn’t the most relaxing experience. The selection of nail colours is very limited and the nail polishes are old. The initial colour I chose did not match the nail colour palette that I chose from and the second colour that I selected they ran out and finally I chose a third colour which I ended up with. Parking is also not very convenient in the area right now due to construction but I know this is outside the salon’s control. My suggestion to the salon: upgrade your lights and improve the ventilation system. Buy quality nail polishes and have your staff disinfect the stainless steel instruments. While I really like the staff and appreciate their gentle demeanour, I don’t think that I will be a returning customer. I prefer going to nail salons where hygiene is most important and I’m willing to pay more for my manicures to ensure non-toxic nail polishes.

Went in for gel/shellac manicure and a paraffin wax dip. Great service and quality results in a very reasonable amount of time! Excellent application and shaping on my irregular nails (some have a semi c-curve and they were mostly different lengths). Also really like the layout as it made it easy to go in with a friend and catch up!

What can I say about Crescent other than their technicians are great at paying attention to detail? My technician was easy to talk to. You can just tell them how you want to get your nails done and they will take care of the rest with their magic skills!!! The massage that was included in my manicure was fantastic. Loving it.

I have been going to this salon for about 4 years now and I am convinced it is the best nail salon in Vancouver. Katy, Mia, and Tim are awesome. They truly care about giving the best service they can, and are always a pleasure to talk to. I have tried MANY other nail salons in the city and trust me when I say you need to give this place a chance. I've never had to deal with any color chipping and my acrylics have never broken. The best part is that is reasonably priced! Other salons will charge a ridiculous amount for a manicure that doesn't even last. Thank you, Crescent Nail Spa!

Quick, clean, beautifully done! Great price for the quality of work. Staff here is really friendly and accommodating! Just needed to get my shellac removed (gel color removal) from extensive weakening but Jesse (?) took great care not to create more damage and salvage what she could of my nails. I was running late so I was planning to let my dog wait outside. But the owner was so kind letting my old fella sit next to me. Whole process took less than half an hour! Only difficulty is the parking on Broadway from all the construction, so plan ahead!

Such a nice salon with good service. Got a manicure and pedicure combo. The place has massage chairs for the pedicure and I had my toes and fingers done at the same time so it was very fast service! I did a little French manicure detail and it turned out so well! Well priced salon, will definitely return in the future!
