Do not go here. They killed an innocent dog, and didnt even let the owner see it before being euthanized (even though they promised they would call). Despite all of the emails and calls they got saying the 4 year old dog was friendly, they still went ahead with it. All because the dog attacked its family (And it wasnt the dogs fault for being provoked)

#JusticeForRex There should be an option to give no starts because we all know CRD Animal shelter dose not deserve even one. Your logo says "making a difference" but I had no idea that ment killing innocent dogs without going through the proper requirements, I say dogs because sadly Rex is not the only innocent soul that was lost at this horrible place. It's time to shine the spot light on all your unforgivable acts, and bring justice for all the innocent dogs that were left to die scared and alone in the hands of your evil employees just like Rex. Not to mention the mistreatment of Rex even after he passed away, this sick facility decided euthinizing a family member was not enough they were going to make Rexs owners suffer more by leaving Rexs body in a deep freezer and not creating him as asked by his owner. For all who are considering going to this facility I highly suggest you avoid this place at all costs these people are animal killers and are not out to help you or your fur baby's in any way.

I am extremely sad to see the recent news about Rex. I figured after all the bad publicity you have received in the past from your neglectful behaviour and bad communication, you would have made changes. You need to re-evaluate what kind of business you are trying to run and who you’re looking out for first. Is it yourselves or our pets? We should feel confident that our pets are safe in your care. Why have so many animals lost their lives in YOUR care?!?!?! I cannot stand to see another innocent dog lose it’s life over your bad establishment and poor management!!!! I hope this is an eye opener. RIP Rex and RIP Rosie!!!! ??

My Elderly dog was taken from our front yard on Saturday, by the time I found out where he was they where closed. I visited the shelter Sunday morning and could her him howling form outside, I talked to a number of employees explaining that he is extremely anxious, old, scared of strangers and requires medication for his two hernia’s. No one had anny sympathy for the dog and refused to release him because they where closed sundays. Upon retrieving him on Monday I discovered the pound was flooded all weekend and his cage was on the bottom floor so he was un able to sleep at all. Interesting how it cost $100 to have your dog stolen and put through hell?? Probably run by disabled volunteers. -5 star rating probably just gonna kick the door down and steal him back next time

I really do not understand all the negative comments posted here. You can only work with what you have for resourses. We adopted Chase from there after having to euthanize our Shepherd and have no complaints. Kat is VERY knowledgeable about dogs.

You took an innocent dogs life. Why did you promise Kyla Johnson she could see her dog Rex before you put him down and then not contact her when the animal was euthanized? We know he died, we don’t know when. You received hundreds of messages on all platforms. You claimed you were putting him down because it was too risky to release a dog to the public that’s past was unknown, but had you answered your phone calls, emails, messages on facebook or tweets you would have known that his previous owners contacted you on everything possible to confirm no aggression was ever apparent in his past, nor has he ever been involved in any other attacks. You killed a 4 year old dog because he was afraid, because he was anxious. You gave him no chance despite multiple trained professionals contacted you. By the end of the night you shut off your phones and facebook comments. Why did you go silent on all social media and make no comment? You put him down as soon as he got there and took that picture to suggest he was still alive. You did this because he was a pit bull. You TARGETED this dog, you wanted it to die. You will ben held accountable.

I went there when i saw my cat on their webpage. It was nice of them to display as much information so I could conclude it was my cat. When I did go to pick him up there was a buzzer at the door (presumably to let the staff know someone had come in) however i found the buzzer to be a shock with it's loud decibel level. I'm sure it makes it tough on the animals to have to put up with it as well. My advice would be to change that buzzer to something less noisy and more of a tone like an average home doorbell. I'm sure the animals would thank you. It must suck to be in a cage AND have to put up with that awful noise. Good luck finding the owners/homes for the current animals you are housing.
