OUR STORY
Cranked first opened its doors in 2003. Since then, we have grown from a small, local bike store, into a large shop that services Airdrie, Calgary and its surrounding cities. Despite this growth, we have managed to maintain our small town vibe while providing service that keeps our customers coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm fairly new to this shop even though I've lived in Airdrie for a long time now. I went in a few years back and found it to have very poor service when I was looking at bikes and other merchandise and never really went back because I got a poor first impression.
But this year, I was in a pinch, so I went back to give it another chance, and was pretty happy with the service this time around. They did some work on one of my bikes on a drop in and although my issue wasn't resolved after I picked it up same day, they promptly corrected the issue next day. So they definitely aren't on my blacklist anymore. I'd go back for sure now, and them being local is a plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible! Words can't explain the frustration bringing my bike here brought me. Quoted me for new brakes then told me they were fixable. Got the bike back the front brake doesn't lock up under load. The back brake is the same as it was when I took it in. I needed a new front tire they put a top of the line maxxis on and it's losing air....
And to mention after paying I went back to airdrie to discuss the problem they brushed me off filled my tire. haven't touched my bike since and this is what the tire looks like

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cranked is a fantastic store. I can’t say enough good things about that team. I have mostly dealt with Nick (the owner), Jeff and Gilles. They are always so willing to help and so knowledgeable. There prices are very good. I recommend to anyone. If you live in Airdrie, you shouldn’t go anywhere else because you are lucky enough to have the best bike store in your city. If you are in Calgary or anywhere else in Alberta, it is worth the drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was able to find a GIANT XTC Junior DISC 24. I order the bike directly from the Giant Website. I've never order a bike online before but they had 1 at Cranked in Ardrie. I purchased the bike online on a Friday. I got a call on Tuesday the following week telling me the bike would be ready for pick up later in the day.
I picked up the bike the next day and the bike was ready at the front desk. The gentleman that helped me offered me a maintenance package for $50. The package was unlimited tune ups for the bike for as long as I own it. I thought that was a great deal. I live in NW Calgary but I can easily make the drive out to get the bike tuned.
Before I took the bike away he put the bike on the stand to give it a once more over. The bike was mint and I'm super happy with the purchase. Really nice bike shop and good service.
