★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If it were possible, I would give no stars. The customer service here is extremely poor. I waited for more than 15 minutes to be looked after, only to be told that the doctor cannot see me because I was late even though I informed one of the 3 technicians that I was there for an appointment and was standing at the counter the entire time, I did not move. She did not informed the doctor I was there for my appointment. It is a good thing that this is not the only place that does eye exams. I would never ever recommend their services to anyone. Were it not independent of Costco this Hatchard Optometry, I would file a complaint to Costco about them. Very very poor customer service .Take your business elsewhere people. They act as if they are doing you a favor by looking after you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eye exam was excellent but female staff at glassware counter were not helpful or friendly. THANKYOU to the young man in the department for being helpful but I won’t be purchasing my glasses at Cross Iron location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Travelled an hour only to find out that I needed an appointment, even when I simply wanted to pick out a pair of sunglasses. Fine, but at least don't ignore me for 5 minutes when I'm standing there and don't be rude about it. Red Deer Vision Centre is 100x better (don't have to make an appointment to pick out glasses and the customer service is wonderful).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wife went for an eye exam, seemed like the eye doctor didn't know what she was doing, gave my wife the prescription after tests and it was wrong. Only tried one other option but nothing else to compare it to. How can we know the prescription is right?!? Waste of 100$, probably have to redo a test somewhere else rather than risk buying glasses that may be wrong.
