Our room was clean, well-appointed and quiet. The bed was comfy, too! I wish we could have spent more than four days here, but we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room because, Banff and Lake Louise! Check-in and check-out with smooth easy and the people were friendly. I would highly recommend Copperstone.

It is in a nice location, not far from Canmore. The hot tub is nice and the staff is pretty good. The draw back is after 10pm on a Friday night they expect complete silence? It's 10pm on a Friday, if it was a weekday it would make sense, it surprises me that playing cards inside and talking with friends is a problem..

Always love staying here. Clean, dog and cat friendly, and you are close enough to Banff and Canmore without the crazy prices! Also, great that you can cook here, do laundry and enjoy the gym they have. 10/10 recommend if you have a family or are looking for pet friendly! (They even give goody bags for the animals)

Was a very laid back environment, which was perfect. Only down fall was that I requested some things to be brought to our room. Was almost 2 hours before I called again and then it took 30 mins and she didnt even have all the stuff a requested so we went back to the desk and asked again. But other than that was a great time. Very beautiful. Clean and welcoming.

My boyfriend and I decided to book a two night stay at Copperstone resort, as there was a full kitchen available and it was close to restaurants in Canmore. We hardly take trips as we have a young child and bought a house last year. We were both EXTREMELY unhappy with our stay. The most annoying factor was our room was placed right above a noisy furnace room. A constant buzz was heard, and it was difficult for us to sleep through. The other problem was that the sink was leaking the first night we were there and water was leaking from the sink head onto the floor unless the water switch was turned off. When we called the manager he told us that he would have to send someone tomorrow. Lastly, the temperature in the room could not be adjusted above 21 degrees celsius. I"m a person that is not comfortable below 22 degrees, but at least there was a fire place. We tried to switch rooms and reported the loud buzzing noise to the manager, and he said that no one had every complained about that before (but we saw a review where someone did complain) and that next time we should ask for a "quiet room" when looking for a hotel stay in. He said that there were no rooms available and offered us a discount for our second night or a refund for the second night if we went home. We left, but still had to pay for the first night of bad sleep, never mind all the packing because we brought food to save money. On top of that it was clear that Copperstone did not want to even give me a refund because I was told I would have a refund with within 5 business days from expedia. After I waited 5 days, I had to call expedia twice so that they could get a hold of the manager. Nothing had been communicated to them about the refund. Truly our most terrible experience away..which was supposed to be romantic! We will not be returning ever.

Nice place to stay with a big family. Clean apartments with fully equipped kitchen. If you are traveling with elderly people then make sure the apartment has at least one bathroom and bedroom downstairs. Another problem was they did not accommodate our request to give two apartments closer in one building. Please request all these things very much in advance.

For the most part, this is a nice little ski resort. It’s just outside of Canmore (about a 5 minute drive) and located in a quiet area. I just spent the weekend here and was satisfied with the cleanliness and layout of the rooms but there were some inconsistencies. We were a party of 6 and rented two separate rooms. One room had amazing decor and some pantry staples (salt, pepper, oil, tin foil, Saran Wrap ect) while the other room was quite bare with absolutely none of the staples found in the other room. Also, the kitchen supplies varied greatly between the two rooms as well. These units are all individually owned so, some are better equipped than others. My suggestion is to bring absolutely everything you need when planning a trip here (right down to salt and pepper) and do not rely on there being any sundry supplies what so ever. Also, if you are unfortunate enough to be the one sleeping on the pull out sofa beds, keep in mind that the forced air heating system is very, very, VERY loud and kicks on intermittently so you can expect a sleep disturbance. Other than these minor annoyances, the hotel is nice and it’s clean and it’s quiet (except for the jet engine, forced air heating system). Just bring what you need right down to salt and pepper and don’t forget your earplugs
