★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The resort has a very nice view and friendly staff. The houses (even the renovated ones) need a good renovation. The access street (appr. 1 km) is made of gravel and the area in between the houses need some attention for landscaping. The WiFi was inconsistent and very weak throughout our stay. I was expecting „a bit more“ for the 400CA$ per night. No cleaning of the house and the towel exchange has to be done by yourself at the reception. The kitchen is well equipped, but the appliances are „old-fashioned“.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rustic Fully contained cabins, very comfortable nice bedding and unit was clean, can’t beat the serenity of the location, views amazing, short drive from Calgary. Wifi was great absolutely no issues. Will be back !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luckily we were able to see the snow and had fun. We stayed here for two nights, beautiful resort, we had a barbecue outside the house. Hope to come back before spring end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasently surprised by how nice the cabins were here. Clean and had excellent views of the valley. It is 10 minutes from Canmore and 30 minutes to Banff, which for me was nice to get away from the crowds. The cabins are quite large with a full kitchen and nicely decorated. There is a hiking trail head just before the parking lot that you can walk to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasently surprised by how nice the cabins were here. Sadly the beds were very uncomfortable. The cabin was clean and had excellent views of the valley. It is 10 minutes from Canmore and 30 minutes to Banff. The cabins are quite large with a full kitchen. There is a hiking trail head just before the parking lot that you can walk to. A pool with hot tub along with a game room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely comfortable nicely appointed accommodations. I visited with my grandkids. Great kids friendly site, beautiful well kept pool and hot tubs. Astounding views. Pretty much perfect!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chalet appears beautiful and the kids really enjoyed seeing deer around the property. There was a park right outside our lodge so it was throughly enjoyed. Having a full kitchen meant we got to make and eat our own breakfast and save some money.
BUT the furniture and carpet needs a big update. The couch and carpet appeared especially dirty. I don't think they've changed in the last couple of decades. We felt a bit icky sitting on the couches and even walking on the carpet. The bedding may not have been washed because there were own marks and drawings on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed this resort at Dead Man's Flats just outside Canmore, Alberta. We stayed in Cabin 17 and were impressed with its size and cleanliness. Beds were great. Full of wildlife! We saw a brown bear as well as a Grizzly and dozens of deer. Hiking trails galore!
