โ โ โ โ โ Stopped by here on the way to lake Louise at the recommendation of a friend and it was delicious! We arrived in April on a weekday afternoon and it was empty, us being the only customers.
The owner/chef kindly greeted us, sat us down and pretty much provided us personal table service! Everything was delicious ranging from the authentic chai tea to the food.
We started with the Mumbai toast and it was delicious! Crispy outside and flavourful insides. The house made ketchup is to die for and the chef also gave us 2 hot sauces, both very good but one of them was definitely a torcher... If you want to continue tasting your meal, would suggest avoiding that one or be very cautious of how much you use!
Wife had the short ribs eggs Benny and I the tandoori chicken burger. They ran out of brioche bun for the burger and subbed their sourdough instead... And wow that was even better! It sort of became a tandoori chicken sandwich but it was so flavourful and well balanced with the pickled onions, I'm drooling thinking of it.
The eggs Benny was a massive portion and very good as well.
Both our meals came with a side of duck fat fried potatoes and we were stuffed after finishing.
Highly recommend this place as you won't be disappointed.

โ โ โ โ โ Had an amazing brunch here. Breakfast was served until 3 which was great because we had people who wanted both menus. The short rib Benny was amazing and so was the pad Thai. Highly suggest trying their homemade ketchup and hot sauce. Server was super friendly as well. This will definitely be a go to from now on and is a real hidden gem away from the insanity of canmore downtown

โ โ โ โ โ I swung in for a bite, and had the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, bar none. Perfectly seasoned, flavors complimented each other perfectly. The duck fat hash browns melted in your mouth, and once again were seasoned to perfection. This was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. This restaurant is more than worth the 5 minute stop off the highway. Please go and check it out!

โ โ โ โ โ A hidden gem!! I never post reviews but had to hop online to gush about this place. Absolutely delicious food for very reasonable prices, especially for the Canmore area. Both our dishes were so tasty that I was thinking about them the rest of the day. The tea was also fantastic, I had the cream of earl grey. As a plus, it comes in a large pot. Try one98eight out, I promise it will be your next favourite spot!

Located just off highway, so if youโre looking to skip the busyness of stopping right in Canmore, than I strongly recommend checking this place out! Not your typical cookie cutter restaurant - you can see and taste the effort and uniqueness of each dish. Excellent flavours! I had the breakfast BLT and my husband had the avocado toast with eggs added. Both very satisfied with our meals! Nice and quiet when we stopped in and service was very friendly as well! Will definitely be going back next time we drive by!

โ โ โ โ โ Exceptional! You are probably looking it at the reviews thinking it canโt be that good - but trust me, it totally is. We had an amazing meal. Itโs worth the drive, and if you are in Dead Mans Flats - you need to support this great local restaurant. Amazing, friendly service, and the best food Iโve eaten in a long time. Support local! Eat here - we will be back and tell all our friends. The $40 set meal was incredible value for the quality of the food we ate.

The bad: drinks were pricey compared to the rest
Overall an incredible meal at a quaint and cozy restaurant. If you like spicy food, the kick in our meals was perfect; just enough to make you sweat but not enough to take away from the experience. The owner does it all and is clearly passionate about what he does.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a meal and wants to support a small, local business in the Rockies.
