★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have not been to this center in person but I applied for a Schengen visa via France. Although I really had a bad experience in VFS Vancouver (which I have explained in detail in my review for them), I got my visa quickly and without any problem from the Montreal center. The officer in VFS Vancouver (lady with black hair from probably southeast Asia) did not include some of my documents. She even said do I still want to apply for a visa considering the fact that I have missing documents the chance of rejection is high! I had already applied twice previously for Schengen visa via other countries for the same reason and I never had such problems. So I was really worried that my application will be rejected and that can affect my history negatively. I had one of my worst couple of weeks but I finally got my visa.
By the way, it is very thoughtful that I got a 3-month visa since my conference has been postponed to 2.5 months later die to Covid. Thank you. Can not wait to see your beautiful country

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think the best thing is to go as soon as it opens. You will not wait a long time and you’ll get your stuff done quite quickly. Be sure you clarify well what you need to do before going there. There is a security officer that will question you about your inquiries. If they can be done online, they will probably refuse your entry unless you tell them you had problems with the online application. Other inquiries may require an appointment. They are quite friendly early in the morning (because there are only a few people) and they like to see that you come well prepared (you have all necessary documents with you).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience ever. Complete lack of any care to people’s plans. I got my passport after 55 days of waiting. I sent an email after more than 30 days requesting any information about it, the website said we will reply in 2 business days, they replied after 2 weeks with the most non-sense answer reflecting how careless they are. I applied 50 days in advance and yet it was not enough as they took 55 days to finish. I canceled all my flights and hotels and lost my registration for a conference l intended to go and paid penalty fees for other plans. This inconsiderate behaviour costs me over $5000. The VFS global was also not professional, inconsiderate, and disrespectful to my worries about passports. I tried to call the consulate but they were completely helpless and useless. If I can give them LESS THAN A STAR I would do with happiness. TRY TO AVOID THIS at any cost and find something instead as they don’t care about people’s plans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They say to apply for a visa at least 30 days before your trip. I got mine in 17 days. I think it is better to submit 45 days in advance. They have nice stuff; the security informed me although the application for a visa is proceeding there, for questions, you should go to 1010 Sherbrook west, 8th floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t see why there are bad reviews after my visit today! Everyone was very nice and efficient! I had 2 appointments and was done within 30 min!
The only trouble: how to find the place from Eaton center. The entrance is between Gap and Aritzia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want our passport back. We applied 2 month ago and still no updates just for a short term visa. Nobody is responding. Already emailed you. We will have a trip out of country and need our passport. Please either process or return our passport and cancel the application as we need the passport for February!
