★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the pockets on my coat had a stitching issue and therefore caused my phone to fall right through and cracked the corner of my device. I took it into Club Monaco where I purchased the $500+ jacket to see if they could do something for me before I left to Montreal for my birthday weekend and holiday party. I met the manager Jennifer who told me that she would take care of the situation and either get another store that has the jacket to exchange the coat or to find another solution. She told me she would contact me back in 24 hours with a solution. It has now been 4 days and no call. I called the store today and spoke to her, and I'm convinced she hasn't done anything as of yet as she kept telling me she was busy and didn't have time. As a manager to make such bold statements and promises to your clients, do not leave them in the dark to call you when you promised a solution for THEM. Absolutely unprofessional. Thanks Club Monaco for the aweful stitching and terrible service. I will take my horribly stitched jacket as a reminder to buy elsewhere in the mall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom took me and my sister shopping. The 2 people that were working there at that time were very helpful. We end up purchasing a jumpsuit for me, a jacket for my mom, and a top, skirt, and also a jacket for my sister. On our way out of the store, my mom decided to purchase a belt and a bag. While waiting my mom and my sister to finish cashing out her additional purchase, i was browsing at one of the racks. Then the woman with curly hair that works there came to me and asked me what i purchased. I think she just started her shift or came back from her break because i did not see her earlier in the store. As i was answering her question, she came closer, pulled the side of my shopping bag and peeked inside. I have not experienced something like that before. I would have given a better review because our initial encounter with the first 2 people that were helping us was made our shopping experience pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a past CM employee (university years) it saddens me to write this review but I had the most unfortunate experience at the Square One location over the weekend. Especially in the times we live in now, human connection and customer service should play such a paramount role in any business, large or small. I visited the store regarding a legitimate price match request which to my great shock the store rep would not honour. Upon asking to speak to the store manager I was shocked to hear that she was the store manager !!!! Some odd store policy was mentioned as the reason the price match couldn’t be honoured. It made no logical or rational sense. I left the store, contacted CM customer service and they immediately honoured the legitimate request.
Your Square One store has lost me as a customer!
Club Monaco leadership - please do your company a favour and either a) empower your management teams to put the customer first if in fact you have strange and outdated store policies in place, and b) consider asking this location’s store manager to look for an opportunity elsewhere or provide some much needed customer service training. This way, you’ll likely keep more of your loyal customers like me - online anyway, maybe....
