★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is full of indifference to customers. I spent more than 15 minutes patiently waiting and finally had to ask for help because no one was paying any attention to me. The guy was very rude and said through clenched teeth "we are busy". That's fine. Another place down the street got our business and will be getting it in the future. I recommend not to use this place. Most likely it will be a disappointing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small store that seems to deal more with contractors than with the general public. They have a good supply of brushes and rollers and painting essentials such as tape as well as sealant for windows and holes in walls. However, they have only one booklet with samples of stains/colours for outside decks/fences. There are paint chips available for viewing and taking home but again, no booklets with colours. I saw sample books of what I think was wallpaper but these were not displayed. All four employees were busy. Although my questions were answered courageously no extra suggestions were offered. They seemed pressed for time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been purchasing paint at this store for many years. The staff have always been very helpful and pleasant. I am surprised to see negative reviews (it seems only during COVID stress times). I have only ever had great service here and have recommended this store to friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were so knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! We were getting varnish for a table we made and they helped us with everything from figuring out what kind of varnish was best for what we wanted, to getting us set up with the things we needed to apply it and advice about how to apply it. VERY satisfied customers, wish we had more staining and painting projects so we could go back more often.

Spoke to Levi and she gave me a huge amount of friendly and useful information. Can hardly wait to visit the store in-person. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two stars for first impression. Store is clean and well-stocked but we were ignored by the two employees at the till while when we walked up with our goods and a paint order to fill.
There were five customers in the store browsing, including us. (We did get a 'be with you in a minute' shout from one employee on entering though she didn't turn around or look at us when she said it so perhaps it was for someone else).
After not being acknowledged we put our goods back on the shelf and left. I'll stick to my preferred location on Ardersier Rd.
