g	ginandlea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have no staff complaints, they were hardworking and competent. However, this system of ‘hold my spot’ is not right. Myself and many other seniors were forced to wait two hours yesterday while younger people came and went because they had registered with the ‘hold my spot’. Did it occur to Life Labs that this shortcut might be very difficult for seniors to access? It’s unfair and discriminatory at best! Not impressed.
B	Bijesh Kumar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Approached a staff member and explained that i wasnt able to log in online in order to make an appointment. Told them i needed to get a blood and urine test done. He told me to "walk in, we open at 6:30 am". Didnt tell me i needed a requisition for it. So i wake up at 5 am the following week. I am the 3rd guy waiting outside in the cold before they open doors. Walk in as was told. Then the nurse asks for my requisition. Which i obviously do not have. They refuse to see me and ask me to leave. If i was told to get a requisition in the first place, I would have. I dont mind following rules. But this was a colossal waste of my time. I am not critically ill, but imagine if they treated someone like this, who was? Pathetic experience!
S	Sigal Zohar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are amazing! Very friendly and professional staff . When I came there was no waiting time. But it is always recommended to book an appointment. If you need to go to one of the labs, this one is the best!

I'm not sure whether Lifelabs is not paying their employees enough - but every lifelabs in Victoria BC is horribly understaffed, and 1/2 are 'temporarily closed' - while others are appointment only where there's no appointments for 45+ days out. I got to this location at 7:05 am and there was already about 40 people there, two staff working, with a 3 hour wait. Are you kidding me?
A	Ash A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The company came up with a great app that allows customers to hold a spot, so they don't have to wait 2+ hours for a simple blood draw that takes 2 minutes, but then the branches decided to go by appointment only or walk-in only, actively forcing people to have to go back to waiting onsite for 2+ hours.
M	Mike Bartlett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not blame the staff on this issue, as it isn’t their fault but like all locations, the staffing problems needs to be fixed. I booked on the app, showed up ten minutes prior to my time and was told they were closed and would not let me have my blood drawn. The app says I am required to show up ten minutes prior but the nurse told me I was required at least a half hour prior (fix the app, please). Lifelabs needs to hire more staff and pay them better wages (maybes that’s why they have issues with retention).
A	Arvind Tirkey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a convenient lifelab that opens at 6:30 am in the morning so one can come early, get in the walk-in line and have the tests done in 45-60 minutes. But if you came later then expect to wait 2 hours. Point is that they open at 6:30 am and walk-in is available, so no need to wait weeks for appointments in other lifelbs. A guy who had appointment here later in the day came early and got in the walk-in queue and got the test done earlier than his appointment. That’s funny. I came here first time at 6:25 am and got my tests done in 45 minutes. Second time I came at 7:45 am and it’s 9:24 am and still 30-45 minutes to go. That’s slow work. I see all are working but line is not moving. Need more worker and faster efficient work? The only benefit is that you can come here without appointment and get your work done before your office/work time and not lose your wage.
