Classic Landscapes - Edmonton

**UPDATE** So......this company commented on my review saying they would check into it...blah blah blah. What they really meant was that they were going to make an even bigger mess for us residents! Horrible company that hires inexperienced cash workers, minimal supervision, and sloppy work. I uploaded more pictures of the finished work with the chips and stuff around the trees and shrubs and the HUGE mess they left in their wake! They even left pieces of wood and debris lying around and this is a family neighborhood. We, as the residents should not have to clean up after these guys. They should be cleaning up their own mess behind them. It's just lazy and unprofessional. I talked to a couple of their laborers and even they don't have nice things to say about their company. They said the term "good enough" gets used alot, or "just leave it". This company is doing work for the builders in our area. They cut a bunch of holes in the grass patches on the city side of the sidewalk in Spruce Grove, and not only are they super slow, hire guys that haven't a clue what they're doing, but leave a big mess in their wake. We keep our neighborhood pretty clean imo, but these guys come through and make a mess and don't clean up behind themselves so we track mud into houses on our shoes and our animals cus they leave all the sidewalks and road full of dirt/mud. I watched one of their workers level raking topsoil on the same 2-3 foot patch of dirt for a half hour. Lol. Then I watched him raking a foot wide 30ft long patch of topsoil just to level it. Guy took so many breaks to stop and just look around and rest I swear he took more steps than working. Lol. And then his supervisor came along and had to redo it all anyways behind him. Lol. The part that pissed me off the most was I seen one of the little local kids trip over a metal bar they left laying on the grass and almost hit her head on the metal bars to support small trees.

iv work there for 4 years and they treat there employs very good all the people that work there are great and very helpful and know a lot of stuff about what the sell and what looks good with what best company to work for and have not just have a job but a courier with.

The staff at Classic’s tree farm were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to find affordable perennials for my garden. I love a good deal these were all 50% off the original price!

This place has many items to interest avid gardeners and occasional hobbyists. The new place is clean, we'll organized and spacious. We were pleasantly surprised by the 50% discount promo with membership when we visited. Great place!

Not a good experience today , very bad and humiliating staff member. While I was shopping at classic landscapes I was discussing with my wife how much soil we need to purchase and checking the weather on my phone when an old woman who works there came up to me and my family and said she needs to see my receipt!!!!!! I told her that we are still shopping so I don't have a receipt ........ Anyways I was a good 20'-30' away from the exit waiting patiently for her to finish with her two customers who were sneezing along with her , just throwing that in there.....Then again she says if we leave the store I have to show her a receipt!!!! And I did buy a yard of garden mix When she finished with her customers I asked her questions about her different sizes and prices , which she did not answer to my satisfaction to say the least , left a sour taste of their mediocre customer service and just a very unsatisfied experience, NOT HAPPY WITH CLASSIC LANDSCAPES !! EMBARRASING ME , ACCUSING ME INFRONT OF MY KIDS!! AND YOU KNOW WHAT , LAST YEAR THEY SHORTED ME ON SOD AND I HAD TO GO BACK, SO THEY CAN'T COUNT TOO

They make it pretty easy to get supplies. We needed gravel for the sidewalk aka ice rink and it was a quick payment inside, drive into the yard, someone told us where to go and put the bag in our trunk and we were on our way. The new facility is nice.

Bond was super efficient at loading our materials. He was friendly and we didn’t have to wait at all for him to get started on our order! It was also extremely hot outside. Also last year when there was no crystal white rock in stock he helped us scavenge the last little bit of it and we were able to complete our project. This guy deserves a raise. ?

This place offers a variety of plants that are in good conditions. I could go to Home Depot or Canadian tire to pick up plants but I go here when I need a healthier and well maintained plant (or specific plants you are looking for other than whats offered on the shelf) as well as great customer services. The staff here are very knowledgeable about what they are doing and they are super friendly. I put my name on for the rubber plants and they called to let me know when they arrived. I expected one kind of plant but they came in two different types of rubber plants and I end up getting all. They provided a care sheet and useful tips. I will definitely come back for more plants to complete my living room.
