Claridge Homes - Spring Valley Trails

Just purchased a new home which is going to be ready next year. I love their model homes the size of the house is really big for a townhome. We went to design centre and Anne was very helpfull with making the right choices for my upgrades. Cant wait to see it when its ready!!

The sales centre staff is knowledgeable, accommodating and caters to your questions. No pressure to buy. The community is also one of the cleanest I saw in terms of a site still undergoing construction.

one year into purchasing this house and there are problems left and right. with the floor,the walls and everything they havnt finished doing. BUT when you try to talk to them about it they either ignore you and don't want to do it. or they just make is somehow worse with their bad builders and bad quality materials. a home made in 1989 had less problems then this home. btw this isint just us every home has a problem. (their customer service is just sad to watch)

Once we move they don’t even care about their customer.They don’t have respect for their customer because they already get their money even though I have a warranty.Very rude customer service,poor value for their customer,Non professional.They tried to answer while don’t hear my question. warranty coordinator of spring valley doesn’t have respect for the customer at all. while I was talking to him I didn’t even finish my sentence and he just huge up the phone while I was talking to him.Isn’t it unprofessional and rude for the customer?.Why most of them are like that I think owner of Claridge doesn’t care about his Customer that’s the reason the customer service doesn’t care too.

Atrocious and incompetent after-sales service. Also, the company does not care about environmental or social responsibility. They’ve repeatedly left garbage - including housewrap and insulation - lying around in the Mer-Bleue Conservation area. Even though I emailed the sales and construction offices about it, nothing was done about it until a city inspector showed up. On closing, our driveway was not paved. We were told at our pre-delivery inspection that if the gravel in the driveway ever packed too much over the winter, we could ask for more. Starting in April, I emailed 3 different people 6 times asking for more gravel. Despite being promised that they would look after it, it still hasn’t happened by November. Some of these emails received absolutely no response and required multiple follow-ups. Claridge’s favourite excuse of blaming the pandemic for their incompetence also does not apply to this situation - there was a pile of gravel sitting at the end of the street for a couple weeks, just nobody doing their job to give orders to move it around. We were also promised pavement by the end of July - that too has not happened, despite having been repeatedly assured that it would be happening "soon". These are just two examples of Claridge's lack of service since we took possession. If you value your sanity and social responsibility, take your money elsewhere. Claridge is very happy to make you pay full price for your unfinished property while denying you its full enjoyment for years. They will gladly delay completion of work as long as they possibly can, if it means squeezing five cents out of you. Typical greedy developer with no conscience, looking to make the most off of working-class families.

Claridge Homes are well built and have great design also beautifully finished. Staff are always nice, professional and provided you all the information you need to make your decision on purchase. Price wise, you get a lot of house space for your money. Claridge is One of the best home builders in Ottawa. Happy with my house built by Claridge.

Been waiting 2 years for the backyard of my home to be completed, still no answer or timeline from the company. We bought a house and we would like to sit outside in the back yard, it's just impossible in the mud. They were supposed to do it july 2021, but no answer from claridge since then. Too buys building new houses with unqualified 3rd party workers.

As a realtor, my clients had an extremely positive experience buying their first new home in Dec. 2021. The sales rep Neeshad provided excellent customer service. I have dealt with other builders, but this was by far the best experience so far. Claridge Homes keep up the good work ?!
