★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I suddenly found ourselves faced with moving to Maple Ridge and were in need of some extra cash. We were initially selling a couple PSP's (hand-held gaming devices for those who don't know) with a few games and movies. We knew that they are a common sight at pawn shops and sometimes wont sell for quite some time, so we weren't looking to make a bunch of money, just spare cash kind of deal... Every one at City Pawn was awesome! Extremely friendly, we were greeted immediately once we came through the door. And they were willing to at least have a conversation with us about the PSP's whereas another pawn shop we visited first, pretty much scoffed at the sight of one PSP and regarded us with a "Nope. Not interested." and gruffly walked away.
Every one at City Pawn took time to actually have conversations with us, and were very understanding when we told our story of being faced with a large move in the very near future! We were so happy with the service we received at City Pawn that we returned later that same day with our PS3 and a collection of games and blu-ray movies. All it took was a quick email listing what we had and we received a response in a matter of minutes! Quick and efficient, professional service, which I always appreciate greatly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a review for their West Kelowna location on Moose rd. They have great hours being open 7 days a week and the staff is awesome to deal with because they are open to offers when I want to buy merchandise. If they don't have what I am looking for they call their Kelowna locations and offer to bring it over for me. I have never pawned anything but if I had to I would use them because they seem very trustworthy and honest.

Outstanding customer service as soon as I walk in, their is always someone welcoming you with a happy smile that can make someones day a whole lot better:) and they make you feel like a great costumer by welcoming you in with whatever you have and making there best effort to help with your exact needs. I want to thank them personally for being there for me and my family you guys are great!!! A HUGE THANK YOU!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So a friend of mine and I are in the area and decide to browse the place. We walk in and the cashier, a sort of old dude, says sarcastically "You know, we were just about to close, but it was you two we were waiting for!" and yknow, this would be rude but understandable if we came 5 minutes before closing, but this was over 30 minutes before the place was closing. And this place doesn't half the inventory to be able to browse for 30 minutes. So we leave humiliated. We didn't have a reputation here, either, I've been here twice and both times I've been there I had come and bought something each time. Don't come here, people, Premier Jeweler is barely two blocks away and has a friendly staff, better lighting, is clean, and better selection. Oh, and the place smells gross and dusty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend anyone to Deal with City Pawn. I have had many transactions with them. Most friendly and outgoing service I have received from any where..They don't make you feel uncomfortable in anyway and always giving you a helping hand in anyway you need it... If your looking for something they will go out of there way to find it for you.. I would never go to any where else. This is my number one go to and I highly recommend to anyone that is looking to pawn, buy or cash cheques... Derek offers the most amazing service you can get... Makes you feel welcome always greeting you with a smile on his face... you wont be disappointed... Id rate more then 5 star but it wont let me.... Lots of services provided check them out :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guys are the best, you will always leave with a smile on your face. The pawn experience is fantastic, they really do listen. They haven't always given my exactly what I needed, but they try and most importantly they explain why if they can't and try to find a way to do it if possible. We also use their Free Cheque Cashing service, which is super cool. Any fees they charge they give back to me to use to buy stuff in the store. Thank you City Pawn!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've used City Pawn several times for short-term loans when work has been slow, and they've always been great to deal with. Though I won't go into details, there has been more than one occasion where Kris has gone above and beyond what I expected to help me out. They seem to value relationships with their customers which is a rarity these days. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in specially to buy a guitar. Nice space good selection.
One guy working on his computer 10 feet away but too busy to acknowledge me when I came in and despite my playing two guitars I was interested in he said nothing until I left to buy a 12 string elsewhere. I still need a 6 string and they have two that interest me but I noticed a fold up stand on the floor the same as three I just bought new for $20 each from Amazon, their used price was $25. I was disappointed and feel I must check the prices closer.
