Amazing puppies and the breeders are very helpful and informative. Defintly a place to pick out a puppy if youre looking for a family friendly companion!

The puppies look amazing. However when I enquired, I was met with a phone call from an extremely rude woman who started grilling me about what I knew of the breed, claiming my recent Shiba breeder was inferior, and demanding I read her website WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH HER. The most entitled and horrible person I have ever spoken to.

I put a very large deposit down because Lynn at Cintara told me it would be about 8 months for my puppy and if I put a deposit now, I would get the discounted price (price going up by $200 in a few months). I called her each time following that at the time periods she told me to (3-6 months in between) for updates and was told "not yet" each time. Its been 2 years now and each time I had called, I get a different story. She doesn't even remember who I am half the time and mixes me up with other depositers. Recently, as I was considering legal action, I read a bunch of reviews on her and Cintara and found most were not good. Since I got this breeder's info from the CKC site, I reached out to them to see if there was anything they could do. Turns out they don't have a say on what their breeders do which was very disappointing since I thought I could trust a CKC breeder. This whole experience has put me completely off from even getting a puppy now, especially seeing the responses from other buyers who seem to think its okay for a breeder to take someone's money, and then take years to give them a puppy. They should at least be upfront about timelines so we plan accordingly. People have to plan their lives when adding a new puppy, and while estimates-only are expected, to be so far off and not be upfront about it feels to me like this whole thing is just a scam. So basically us buyers have no insurance at all unless we are willing to dish out hundreds of dollar for legal action. I am hoping this review will help educate potential dog owners looking to buy from a breeder who asks for a huge deposit in advance and "commits" to a timeline. Since timelines can't be predicted, if a breeder gives you one, that might be cause for concern. This is what happened to me with Lynn at Cintara. Now each time I call her, she confuses me with someone else and talks about conversations I never had with her. Not sure if its an act but thats a whole nother concern. So please make sure to do your research and read reviews (I hope this one helps SOMEONE) else you might find yourself putting your life and plans on hold for years while waiting for the puppy you were once so excited about.

We put a large deposit down for a Shiba puppy, we were told it would be about a 6 month wait time. We ended up waiting over a year and a half. (calling once in a while to check in.) We kept getting told different excuses as to why it was taking so long and it seemed like we just kept getting bumped. We weren't picky at all, male/ female/ colour didn't matter to us we just wanted a puppy. Eventually we just bought a shiba puppy elsewhere and Lynn wouldn't give us our deposit back. Such a disappointing experience, waste of time and we are SO in love with the Shiba we bought elsewhere.

We've just acquired a puppy from Lynn. We had to wait over 2 years, but it was more than worth it. He is an amazing dog, and came to us trained to go outside and to sleep in a crate. Lynn is passionate about her dogs and we are very thankful!

We got a lovely Shiba Inu from Cintara Kennels. Lynn is an expert at what she does. We waited about 18 month for our dog, it was totally worth it. Our Shiba is loving, friendly, great with our cat an loves everyone he meets. We are very happy with out Cintara experience.

We had a great experience with Lynn - we put our deposit down back in January 2017 and while we had to wait for almost 2 years (due to a male or female going infertile, I can't remember the exact reason), it was worth the wait. When we first met her and met the dogs, we decided that they would definitely be the ones for us. I can understand the other reviewers frustration with the time (some people aren't willing to wait as long we were, that's fine) but Lynn has been wonderful. In the end, always meet your breeder and the dogs and make your decision - for us, Lynn and Cintara Kennels was our perfect match. Few photos of Omi are included.

These dogs are born completely different to what you read about Shibas on the internet. Lynne's dogs are so loving and easy going with kids, other dogs and strangers. I highly recommend Lynne and couldn't imagine looking elsewhere for Shiba education and puppies.
