The bank should be paying the customer for wasting their time and putting them through such stress not charging the exorbitant fees they do. Can't stand incompetence and inefficiency as described so thanks to the reviewers for the heads up. Will stay far away!!

Spoke to the manager who assured me I would be contacted the day of and still nothing! They never answer there phones. Worst mistake dealing with this branch. Seriously bank elsewhere. This location is the worst

R	R Silva on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What started out a a great experience has quickly and typically turn awful as par with CIBC. I went into deposit and found out my debit card hard expired so I went to the CRS and asked them to do the deposit for me and issue me a new card, which should have been automatic. Just another way for them to get you to go into the branch for sales. Then I wrote a lovely review for what I thought had been a good experience. However, my debit card has not shown up. The branch manager, Adabbir followed up with me in regards to my review and asked if there were anything else. At that point no. But now yes! I emailed them back informing them that my card has not shown up and that we would like to move our mortgage and who could we talk to. I also wanted to discuss my investing accounts with someone as the wait times have been hours, which when you are holding people money ransom and making millions of dollar from it be lending it out is infuriating. So, I would never recommend CIBC. I worked for RBC and it is awful to work for but as a client they are pretty good.

I am usually anxious when it comes to my own finances, and they took the time to explain everything to me without judgement. I am no longer scared of investing and am excited to be contributing to my own future. They even went above and beyond to reduce my monthly transaction fees, make a plan for my student loans, and find a credit card more suitable for my goals. Also getting financial advise from other woman in a “stereotypically” male dominated industry made it less intimidating. Thanks CIBC, I will be recommending this location to my friends and family. C	Canuck PCGamer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best CIBC branch. I'm shocked they get a low score. Yes they follow the rules so if you forget ID it will be a problem. They do the job they should. The cibc at gateway gets double the star rating how ever they don't follow the rules as close which is wrong. I do believe the lady I look for is name Sharon, I may have to correct but she is a very caring and honest worker. The other two that help me are very friendly and do their job correct. You can't hammer a place for doing what they are suppose to. The low rating shows me how diva like people are and how much the public can suck. This branch should be at the top... This coming from a guy who has 20 years of sales experience and is very picky. You rub me wrong once I don't come back. Give this shot a place, any reasonable non diva should love this branch.
E	ElepsieGaming on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The financial advisor lady was nice but the old lady that the only one was working at the teller was very unfriendly. It wasn't even busy time we are the only customer. She didnt even say hello when we got in the branch. I didn't feel welcomed.
