★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The person I spoke with was very nice and I do not blame this person for anything. My complaint has more to do with systems in place during these stressful times. I wanted to simply close my account. All policy states that this can only be done in person. I think it's pretty simple to put security in place to allow this to be done on the phone or even done through online banking. I mean really once I am logged in I can spend all the money or move it or what have you. I just can not close it?!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the absolute worst branch. I would not recommend using them ever. Every interaction, product, and need to enter this building and deal with these people has been problematic.
Have a mortgage and line of credit with them, if it wasn't for their call in service and telephone banking representatives we would have NOTHING to do with this bank.
Had to take a day off to do banking (get a debit card and sort out LOC info) they cancelled the debit card THAT AFTERNOON we still have products with them....why would you cancel a customers access to online banking the day after they register the online account.
Terrible at their jobs, terrible customer service.....bank with Harold the Jewelry buyer if you have to. Literally anyone on planet earth can provide basic banking needs better than these clowns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almost impossible to have an appointment in good time to open an account...minimal wait time at least 1-2 weeks ..if you can come in on their schedule..most of us work ...no customer service here ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I am visiting Ontario the Midland CIBC is the best. Everyone is actually happy to be there it's a great atmosphere. They treat all of their clients with respect and are always available to help. The new manager and advisors really went above and beyond to help me.
