These five stars all go to Shabnam Kassaian (Shana) as I have not been to the branch yet , but since Covid situation took place I chose this great soul as my financial advisor. In a nutshell she goes above and beyond to take care of your needs and to serve your best interests. She is always available whenever you need her support , her advice or any business with your account. She is fluent in both English and Persian, so knowledgeable in her field , really diligent in whatever she is doing and at the same time very friendly and compassionate. I was so lucky to have transferred my account to her and so happy to have known this amazing person. I cannot thank her enough for all her effort in taking care of my and my husband's financial needs and would like to ask CIBC decision makers and top managers to award her with professional promotions she rightfully deserves for the quality services she provides for her clients.

Visited this branch twice. The first time it was a great experience. Jason and Patrick explained the process of mortgage renewal in details and patiently answered all the questions I had. On the second occasion, I waited for an hour but still couldn't get my issue resolved. The gentlemen who helped me was nice. However, a female manager was pretty rude when she told me I could either wait 20 minutes to open a new account to replace the existing one or get out of there..

My husband and I got an awesome deal from Shabnam and we were completely satisfied. As we saw her expertise, decided to switch to CIBC as our primary bank, started investing in CIBC because of her. She was a great financial advisor. Today we had a question from her and tried to reach her then we were told she is not working there anymore. The bank should have informed us, this is disappointing and disrespectful customer service.

Made a mistake, came here before leaving Canada. The lady here gave me wrong information about closing the account via live chat from abroad - lie, lie. Now I ended up with the account still open, live agents sent three follow up request to the branch, the manager ignoring them and not bothering to call us as promissed. CIBC = lies and lies, I would never bank with them again.

I had an amazing service in this branch by their financial advisor Mahgol Zahedi. She was super expert and patient as she explained all the details. She was super helpful. One of the best customer service experiences I had so far.

I have the worth customer service in this branch with Zohreh, I had appointment with her but she didn't know and ask me "Who are you" and who set the appointment for you and why? then I had to stay for 10 minutes then went to work without any services.

Absolutely the worst branch. I came to deposit a cheque. Was told unless it was a bank draft or a certified cheque there would be a hold. So I called the issuer and was told I could go to any TD bank branch and have it certified. I went to the TD near by. Had it certified and came back to CIBC. I was told by Layla or loyla that everything is cleared and good to go. So I left. But to my surprise the card was declined so I came back after failing to get anyone on the phone. Just to be told that yes indeed there was a hold and because there is no managers to sign off on it the hold will be in for 5 business days. If I wasn’t in such a hurry and if it wasn’t such an emergency I would have said ok. But circumstances being what they are I asked if there was anyway to get it released. I was told that if TD confirms that they certified it she can release the funds other wise nothing but because I needed some funds available she said she can do 2000 max 3000 because she wants to help me. I said ok at least do that and I will go to TD. I went to TD and was told that they don’t call or certify a already certified cheque. So I went back to CIBC. I was then told that no the hold will be on for 5 days and not even the 2/3000 will be available. I confronted the teller who told me nothing she could do as she doesn’t have the authority and that she asked but was told no. Basically too bad so sad your screwed. Last hope I went back to TD. explained the situation and wow they were so helpful and said they will do whatever they can to help me. Even if I wasn’t a TD customer. Such wonderful service. I called CIBC lucky enough got a hold of someone after 10 tries and got the fax number and I was promised that they will fax it right away. I double checked and asked if it was going to be now or now as in 5-10 mins from now. I was told now as in right away. I waited for 5 mins at TD and still no fax. So I came back to CIBC and while waiting in line guy named jason feng said he will find out what happened and asked me to sit down in lobby. I waited another 5 mins nothing so I went back to him and he told me she was busy eating but he will find out. Another 5 mins she wonders out to tell me she’s going to fax it now. My complaint is this. If you knew that a customer needed the funds available right away and went to such lengths to get it certified and come back. And you knew hat because manager wasn’t in that the funds would be on hold till they came back shouldn’t you tell the customer that instead of letting them leave believing that everything was done and clear? And take responsibility for your actions? Such a horrible teller and such horrible customer service. It’s sad when another bank, your competitor is nicer and more willing to help then your own bank. A bank where you’ve been banking with them for years.
