I got my debit card stole while walking my dog one block away from the this branch. This is my branch, and they told me They could not do anything for me. While talking to them and trying to convince them to lock the card , I got fraudulent charges . They did nothing for me. They have no proper trained staff, basic request are not capable to deliver. Not happy with the branch, makes me want to change my bank. Good thing they are two new branches being open in the area.

This is the absolute worst branch I have ever dealt with, Scotiabank or any other bank wise. Multiple departments seem to have the same ongoing issue of terrible communication and response times. They take absolutely forever getting back to you, waste so much time with arranging meetings and sending emails gathering basic information in multiple steps that could all be collected in one meeting or be communicated itโ€™s needed previous to in person meetings. People go on vacations in the middle of time sensitive matters without communicating they will be unable to fulfill the requirements needed by the customer. The amount of times I have tried to change basic or important information with them and it gets lost in translation is a number I have lost count of. After dealing unsuccessfully with multiple issues this year I will be leaving this branch.

This branch is the worst! Among all banks along Lonsdale. The location seems big but every time I came there were only 2 tellers among several booths. Long wait after long wait. Donโ€™t say itโ€™s Covid because nearby Rbc and TD are always better staffed.

Customer service is getting worse and worse. We were renewing our mortgage and were unable to reach a human being at all - messages to our previous contact went unanswered and all roads led to the DIY option online. Teller lines are ridiculously SLOW. They clearly only want to work with corporations and not individual humans. Never again.

Unfortunately we can't give 0 stars. Waiting time is absolutely insane and the customer service definitely lost somewhere but not at Scotia. If you want to go there be ready to be stuck for a decade with an outstanding incompetent staff.

While some of our experiences at the branch have been positive, more recently, our experience was such that we decided to no longer do any business with Scotia. This translated in some transfers. We have been waiting for close to 2 months now, and still our transfers are not complete. After calling the Scotia customer service line a few times, I got so frustrated I asked to speak to a manager and I was told 'they are a bit too busy to speak with you right now'. They offered for the branch manager to call me, who had previously already told me she was unable to help. As a customer, you have nowhere to turn for assistance.

I never reviewed and commented negatively anywhere till today but I have to do that today for the first time. Worst customer service ever. Most horrible behaviour i have ever seen among the banks during years. I paid off my car loan a month ago and after several attempts and waiting few hours each time to get my release letter, I went to the bank to ask them provide me the letter today. The teller who was an Indian woman didn't wait even to listen to me and tried to divert me to phone customer service. She wanted to get rid of me with very impolite behaviour. I never open account or go this bank anymore. Scotiabank HR section should be ashamed of hiring these unprofessional employees.

Worth bank to have your business account with. 1 star is even very high score for this bank. The business account representative is usually taking vacation once in a month and she is on vacation whenever you need her. I applied for HASCAP loan for my business on Nov 13 2021, its took the business account manager 36 days to have my conditional approval. she called me on Dec 19 and she told me the condition and she said I am taking vacation for 2 weeks and I ll transfer your file to branch manager to help you with your document and conditions. than the branch manger did nothing and resigned on Dec 24 with no notice to me and other client . Than I went to the bank on Dec 28 ask for my application and they pass my application to personal account manager and she said the best thing for you is wait until your business account manager come back from vacation. Than she came back on Jan 4 and they could not do any thing for my application. even for Government secured loan they need first security charge, this is very frustrating for businesses specially in this hard time. This is worth banking experience I had and I will close my business and personal account for good. I DONOT RECOMMAND SCOTIA BANK TO ANY ONE . ZERO RESPECT FOR OLD GOOD CUSTOMER AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I deeply hope Scotia management read all these command on this branch because you guys losing business.
