Jim, Sheryl and Jeff Wotherspoon are the proud owners of Cheyenne Tree Farms Ltd.. From very early on, we had a passion for the wonder of plants. The amazing beauty and complexity of trees, shrubs and perennials and what they provide was the driving force that motivated us to spend our life working with plants, and led us to establish Cheyenne Tree Farms.

Our nursery started in 1980 in north Edmonton with the purchase of a lease of an existing nursery. Having lived in Beaumont since 1977, we were continually looking for somewhere close to home. In 1995 when the opportunity to grow our nursery in our home community presented itself, it was a resounding yes. Growing trees takes time, so we did not open our doors to the public until 2001, continuing to run our north location until 2008. Since that time we have grown and made many changes to our nursery and Garden Center.

We work hard to produce quality ‘Prairie Hardy’ trees, shrubs and perennials, that you can take home to enjoy in your yard.

M	Mark Strickland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t buy anything from this place!! Go elsewhere! We purchased 2 trees, and multiple bushes and shrubs from Cheyenne and spent thousands. A few months pass and one of our bushes isn’t taking so we tried to return it under the 1 year policy after talking to them on the phone saying no problem, but they wouldn’t let us saying the bush wasn’t dead. The bush has shrunk in size and now it will not pass our community inspection. How hard is it to exchange a $42 bush? Save your self a headache and buy from a nursery that will help you out.

Update: we have received our tree and was nicely put in place in the hole we dug. However the tree did not look lush and vibrant as the day we purchased it. It looks so gloomy... I now have changed my rating to 4 stars.

I went to curb pick up, Kathy herself delivered two beautiful Roses to me, they are doing so well, both of them are blooming now! ??❤️

Specifically, I would like to thank Kathy for her loyalty and a great service. She was the first person to help us when our plant had become weak; and we hadn’t had any idea what was going on with it. Also, I appreciate the hard work done by Natalia who is the professional of what she does. She always there to give advice on. Great place to buy flowers, plants, and a garden stuff.

We had 4 trees were damaged by rabbit, other nurseries took 3 back and gave us Full refund in store credit, no Question asked. Cheyenne Farms does not cover the trees damaged by Animals. They only Refund 50% in Store credit. Not Recommend just because of their Warranty Program.

I was a little reluctant to drive the 30+ minutes to Beaumont from my place in north Edmonton, but it was absolutely worth the drive. First, they were the only place I could find the shrub I was looking for. Second, they are much more than a tree farm, with a massive number of trees, shrubs, and perennials. Third, and perhaps most importantly, they had extraordinary customer service. The young man who helped me on the phone took the time and initiative to physically go see if they had what I wanted in stock. On site, Natalia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, offering a level of education and service that is almost unheard of today. Then, as we were leaving, Colin took the initiative to take our goods to the vehicle and load them in the back. Everyone we met was bright and cheerful. An absolutely amazing experience.
