★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attitude problem in the staff. The hairstylist act like he is paying the customer to give a haircut not the other way around.
Haven’t been so uncomfortable in any salon before.
The guy was angry because I was asking him questions. He being an expert in the area, had zero help or suggestions to offer. Disappointing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was getting my hair done on Thursday when I noticed a hair stylist named Corey yelling at a woman in the chair. I would honestly say he was bullying her and being completely disrespectful. This was a hard thing to watch because when I noticed the woman explaining to management how she was feeling, the manager just kept saying “well he’s the best.” This is completely unacceptable. I watched this poor woman in tears get absolutely bullied by not only the stylist Corey but the female manager. Horrible experience and will not go back after watching this. It was very awkward for everyone at the salon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an appointment on Jan 03 for a cut and color, was unsure of what service to request for the greying of my hair and asked the stylist a few questions and he appeared very agitated and low on patience answering my questions, it seemed as though he expected me to come in with a body of knowledge related to hair and coloring prior to the appointment. I wanted something permanent, something that would last at least a month - two as far as coverage of greys were concerned but I was encouraged to go a few tones cooler and the toned color stayed on for less than three weeks and I am back to the original greying. I am very upset as I paid a hefty amount for this not so desirable cut as well as the very temporary color. The hair cut is also not what I wanted, I had come prepared and had multiple photos of cuts I preferred. Not sure if I’ll ever return to this location or Chatters, in general.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been getting my hair done here for about 10 years I think. I will sometimes have the same stylist a few times in a row, but no matter who I get it’s a job well done. They seem to have a strong process that everyone is trained in, so I tend to get similar service from everyone. One trick I’ve found is to ask what level the stylist is in advance. If I’m getting colour, I’ll definitely ask I advance for someone experienced. You can also ask how much $$ it will be for a more experienced stylist.
