The first large bird I’ve ever been close to. He is amazing, amusing, entertaining, welcoming and sweet and funny. He’s changed my view of large birds permanently, and their caretakers. Worth a visit for sure!

She helped me with Raw Food choices for our French Bulldog, she is very knowledgeable! I love how she includes her own animals in the store, her birds being there with her during work hours shows how dedicated she is to her animals ❤️

And an added bonus: the beautiful parrots rescued by the owner come to work with her every day. A must visit for anyone looking for natural food and treats as well as sustainable and earth friendly products for their beloved companions.

I found the perfect toys for my parrots and had my cat go from diabetic to completely healthy with the right diet change. My vet was extremely impressed with her knowledge and recommendations. You don’t get service and knowledge like this in the big stores. Highly recommend!
L	Ley Edwards Kaye on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drive a good distance to shop at Cascadia and I do it because the shop meets the needs of my Italian Greyhound and because I know the individuals who own and run it have the best interest of their customers as well as a real heartfelt love and sympathy for all animals great and small. They have taken exceptional time and care for exotic birds that have been abused and left to die … they have devoted their lives to these forgotten creatures brought to our country. I know that Dawn and Ron have devoted their lives to this cause because I have known them for 20 years and have witnessed their compassion and that Iago their beloved cockatoo was the centre of their heart and life. Iago brought life into their shop to everyone who has compassion for these creatures and were delighted to see how happy he was around you. I know how much they grieve his loss. This review is in response to the abusive reviewer today that decided to throw around words that have no validity or truth…I expect she has an agenda and no doubt makes a practice out of bad reviews because it draws attention. To visit Cascadia on Main St. is worth the trip. The shop is a good old fashion Mom and Pa establishment and has good quality food and merchandise. It even expanded this last year to allow for more space and product. Because Ron and Dawn have also had dogs and cats themselves over the years they take great care in what they stock and for look out for the health and welfare of yours. You will not be disappointed ?

The owner was very knowledgeable about the products, and helped me decide on an appropriate hanging rope sphere for my parrot. He loves it! She also has a couple of rescue birds in her store with her, providing them with the stimulation of daily interaction, and works tirelessly to educate the public on animal welfare issues. I always enjoy shopping there, and would way rather support a business like this than the faceless big box stores. Bought food for my mother's cat too, as I liked the selection of healthier and more ethical options.
