The Pet Shop Club

Called beginning of December asking how much for full groom for my 20lb puppy and they said $75 for junior, $10 more for senior groomer. The following week I booked him an appt and went in the next day (there was a last minute cancellation). Charged me $115 when I picked him up. Inquired about this difference, guess there was a miscommunication from whoever was answering calls that day.... No problem, don’t mind paying a premium for a good job but when I went home I noticed around his butt was uneven, one armpit was weirdly shaved, his balls were red, they didn’t finish trimming his tail, they didn’t finish his back legs, etc. Also the owner called me giving me a 20 min. warning before he would be done, but then when I got there 20 min. later they said they didn’t finish and it’s not perfect because he wouldn’t stand still... I thought it was odd how they said it would take 2-2.5 hrs, but they only ended up spending 2 hrs on him (most places a full groom takes 3+ hrs). Guess they don’t know how to groom or work with puppies or any dogs that move because the owner told me how 2 groomers had to work on my 6 month old puppy because he kept moving. The owner also recommended I get him a trainer lol. I thought it was a groomer’s job to know how to work with dogs/puppies. If my puppy stood still like a stuffed animal, why do I need to pay $100+ for a groomer...? When I brought him in to fix his cut, the junior groomer said Jenny did his body (a person specializing in “Canadian grooming” which is basically clippers per their website). That’s disappointing since the only reason why I came to this place was because I wanted Japanese-style scissor cutting and finishing. But what’s most alarming is that I could hear my puppy yelp and whine through the doors when they were fixing his cut.

Amazing place, the staff is super friendly and they always take care of my baby. the price seems fair to me for the care they give to my dog. I highly recommend here. ?

I have been using Pet Shop Club home boarding since our beloved Benicio was a puppy. I trust them fully and I know he always receives the best care and attention. In fact, they seem to be genuinely happy and excited when I have to leave town so they can have Benicio for a few days! I always know he is safe and happy and I receive thoughtful reports and photos of his time spent with his caregiver. Whenever we pull up at the Pet Shop Club, whether it is for a grooming appointment, day care or to drop him off for a few days, he bounds happily towards the door and is so excited to see everyone, which tells me he is happy and being cared for at the highest level. Benicio loves the Pet Shop Club and so do I for their level of service, professionalism and the fact that they all truly love Benicio!

My little pup absolutely loves coming to the Pet Shop Club for daycare! When we are approaching the store he wags his tail like crazy and can't wait to go in and play! The staff are very attentive and accommodating to him, and I always feel safe leaving Westley in their care. As I am writing this review, he is there right now enjoying time with his friends :)

Service here is incredible - Karla is always so pleasant on the the phone and in person. Our Groomer Kaori T is so sweet and gentle towards my dog and does a fantastic job on her Asian style cut. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to spoil your fur baby.

They are the ABSOLUTE BEST and really care for my baby. I enjoy watching the stories of my puppy and the other dogs playing on Instagram. They are so knowledgeable and kind as well. I wholeheartedly trust them and recommend them. Thanks so much, Pet Shop Club!

Corkie attended Kindergarten for six weeks last summer. He is my sweet little angel but he was just so timid. The staff at The Pet Shop Club worked with him and helped so much with his confidence. He now goes to daycare and he is totally comfortable playing with the other dogs. They also did a lot of training with him, which was super helpful. He loves the staff there and now hates to leave!

I took my dog here for teeth cleaning. We had adopted her a few months ago and her teeth were horrible with lots of tartar build up. She is a quite an anxious dog and I was worried how uncooperative she is about people looking at her teeth. The groomers here did a wonderful job! Her teeth look beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and seemed good with our dog. Our dog was definitely excited to go home but wasn't nearly as upset as I was expecting. It was a very good experience and worth the money. I would highly recommend going here.
