Great selection of food, toys, perches, travel cages and bags. I had checked out a couple cages online, called to confirm they had the cages before I made the hour trip. I cannot remember the name of the gentleman who answered my call, but he did confirm they had the cages, and made suggestions based on his personal experience (he owns the same type of bird). The cages are in perfect condition, reasonably priced, and no hesitation to help bringing it out to my car. In the moving process the seed catchers were taken out (I bought a floor model), and got left behind at the shop. I called and left a message once I made it home and realized they'd been forgotten (after hours). I received a call the next morning to follow up about the seed catchers, and immediately offered to mail them to me. They arrived via FedEx the next day. 10/10 service, I shall be returning for future bird-related needs.

They have terrible custom service. The manager’s unprofessional behaviour is unbelievable for, someone that is supposed to be responsible for the store . She got mad that my friend was looking for advice from one of her employees about her pet bird. As my friend and her sister were at the cashier she ignored them when asking for help, she walked away got another staff to take over and did not even explain to them what’s happening. The situation ended with my friend and her sister getting frustrated, and asking why they are being treated so rudely? Instead of apologizing she became super aggressive and got another male staff involved, and kicked them out of the store. Due to the poor customer service we are never going there. The owner’s respond just proves, the lack of professionalism missing in their management of the store. Please hold yourself and staff accountable for your poor behaviour and treatment of customers, who actual enjoy the products you provide. The last thing you should be doing as a owner is lying, and trying to cover your tracks by making false accusations and saying you were trying to prevent racism. For the record I am a black woman, my friends are Parisians, as immigrants we experience, understand, and struggle with the consequences of racism. We know to treat all people regardless of their race, gender, or sexual orientation with respect, and kindness. All you can do as the owner of the store is to, make sure your staff are trained to provide proper customer service. One last thing, please apologize when customers share their experience of being mistreated by your staffs.

While there are some very friendly staff, I did not have a very good experience with one over the phone and beware of the no return policy. I had bought a bag of Harrison High Potency Fine as that is the only one my bird will eat. I have also bought the Super Fine in the past, but once ground up and hot water is added, it gets a glue-like texture and my bird will not eat it. When I brought the High Potency Fine bag home and made the mixture, right away I noticed the glue-like texture, and sure enough my bird refused to eat it. So right away I assumed the bag was mislabeled as Fine when it should be Super Fine, so I called the store to ask if I could exchange the bag. When I called, before I could explain the full story the lady cuts me off and explains (in a very rude manner) that I should’ve known of their no return policy. I said that I was just wanting an exchange because I believed the bag was mislabeled. She then proceeded to tell me that β€œit is not their fault my bird wasn’t taking to the food and this has never happened before”. This was an extremely rude approach and as it turns out the bag did have the wrong food in it. Luckily I still had the older High Potency Fine bag from before so I compared the two and the pellets in the new bag were indeed β€œSuper Fine” as the pellets were tiny compared to the ones in the older bag. I contacted Harrison directly and they explained since it is an Organic food, these things can happen. They believed me right away without having to provide proof. They advised me that the stores carrying their products should be aware of their return policy. I understand that this is not the stores fault for having the bag mislabeled, however, the way the situation was handled was not a good experience. They dismissed me before hearing the full story and the blame was quickly put on me and my bird. This combined with the strict no return policy, will keep me from shopping here again. I believe there were other ways to handle this situation, instead of hiding behind the β€œno return policy”. The store could have asked to see proof, which I would have happily provided or perhaps they could have reached out to the manufacturer first to see if anything could have been done. In the end, I didn’t get the product I paid for, and was left with a bad taste after that phone call. This was my personal experience with this store.

Excellent customer service, and product knowledge. The owner is very kind, and takes time with her customer to understand the needs and experience level. She offered us excellent diet and feeding tips for an injured young crow and didn't try to sell more than what we needed, excellent shop wonderful experience can't wait to be back!

If you love birds, this is a wonderful place to visit & shop. The staff & other customers are always so friendly & knowledge. It's so great to meet others that really care about their parrots & their well-being. My Senegal, Magnus, & I kind of look forward to when we run low on feed (for two senior cockatiels + senegal parrot) so we can go in for a visit & shop.

I have been shopping here for years for the great bird food and knowledgeable staff. It takes me an hour to travel here since I live in Richmond but the trip is worth it.

Lovely place. I live on the island but whenever I cross over I make a point to stop here. Love that there's a place to get plenty of toys and such for birds. I got my cockatoos cage here and it's perfect for him too

Terrible experience with this pet store. I bought a bowl and found it unsuitable for my parrot's cage. It's unused. I came back to return it 3 days later. They just told me no return or exchange. However, nobody told me this when I purchased it. I admitted that I was in a hurry to purchase and I did not notice the final sale in the receipt. I am very disappointed that the owner is so rude to their client. He just told me that I could donate the bowl. This final sale policy is unreasonable and I will not buy there again.
