Casadona Place - Calgary

My first negative review ever. Management let us down in a constant matter. Don’t follow up, open tickets for more than a year. I am in good relation with the management and this is my real name. They only don’t do anything after you move in that is helping the actual problems. Maybe the owners give them too much work load.. maybe. Enough excuses but never a solved issue. Renters insurance is not covering all their building mistakes! This is a biggi. We had to move after our first month to a hotel and afterwards to a different suite next to our old one that was flooded. (New building) we had so much additional costs and they wanted more money for the other suites they offered us. Our insurance called under his own name and get the same price as for our suite. So after moving 3 times with 2 kids in 3 weeks during the most intense wave of covid was an just horrible. I just need to go full Karen on them (sorry Karens) but I don’t want that. A they are full aware of that. I still have a nice relationship with them, personally they are awesome. Workwise needs attention other than for new renters. AGAIN, renters insurance will not cover all their building issues. If your suite gets flooded not everything is covered. Management, don’t bother to follow up on this review. We know you won’t or can’t do anything. This is just to ventilate, I have no other expectations anymore from Bentallgreen oak Casadona place.

Would not recommend this building to anybody. It is managed by bentall green oak who truly live up to their one star review on google. On-site property management does not support their residents and only care about the money and taking your money. Well only living there for 4 months we experienced 2 floods one on the main floor and one the top floor. Management only put fans in which we’re very noisy and did not fix ANY damages. Also If you like quiet enjoyment in your living space, I wouldn’t rent here as maintenance thinks they can come into your suite whenever they please without 24h notice and just walk in! Oh and for communication from management on-site or anyone that manages the building or works here…goodluck, “they will call you by end of day or tomorrow” and never get back to you. Just want to share our poor experience and make others aware so this doesn’t happen to them!

It is so disappointing to see such a beautiful rental property be managed by a very unreliable team. Starting mid April we took a tour with Leanne Munro to possibly rent for June 1st, fell in love with the property & actively pushed to get our dogs approval which we did. We sent in an application as well and consistently tried to contact her to get things going for when our lease would start. We were given a bunch of choices to rent & now its been 1 month and they tell us there are no more to rent until July, which completely has messed up our moving plans, it’s like they never bothered to prioritize us with proceeding on renting. I would call & email numerous times & would never hear back unless i would resend emails and call consistently just to speak with someone, however even speaking to someone i would just get a response that they will call me back and wouldnt get any response back. Unfortunately, due to unreliability & inconvenience we decided to no longer push getting into this rental property. I truly wish i trusted my instinct on what all the bad reviews were saying & particularly made this review to help future renters from this place. Be prepared to have a second property to rent as this was a headache to deal with & i dont wish anyone the stress & anxiety we have had to deal with in just getting this to work. Not a good first impression with new potential renters, cant even imagine how much harder it would be if we ended up moving in & issues possibly arising with living there.

I actively sought out this building for the size, construction and location. I’ve lived here for three months and I have to say that the quality of the finishes and the general upkeep of the building is impressive so far. The staff are accommodating and responsive to questions. Jason, maintenance guy extraordinaire, is prompt and very good at answering questions. I know this has been a very busy past few months for property management given the number of new renters, including those who have had issues. I hope to live here for a few years yet. I have owned several homes and condos in the past, Casadona Place impresses me.

I’ve lived here for over a year now, and one employee has changed how I perceive life at Casadona. I’m on long term disability so I’m here 24/7, and the addition of Jessica, who cleans the building, has changed my life. I’ve never met a cleaner who not only cares so much about keeping the building clean and fresh, but cares just as much about the people living here. If you asked her for help, she would drop everything for you. This woman deserves a raise and praise!
