They assessed the damage on January 3 and made an appointment to drop off my vehicle on January 30 when the parts are to be arriving. I didn't get my vehicle back until February 28. Not only did they take long, the repairs were of poor quality.
They actually rushed me through the review portion before taking possession of my vehicle. It's a good thing I was able to see the hairline imperfection and asked them to repair them. However, I did not notice the problem with the 3M plastic protection. There are areas that are not sticking against the surface area and dirty water is getting underneath. Let's see if they will get these imperfections fixed in July when I will be back in Calgary.
The day after picking up my vehicle I had to make my way to Vancouver. It was in Golden that I realized that my wiper fluid was not working. Imagine driving on the highway in the winter with no wiper fluid. Luckily an Esso personnel was able to temporarily repair it so that I can drive to Vancouver.
During the drive to Vancouver my PDC malfunction.
I wonder what else did they incorrectly put together or fixed?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and repair job on my vehicle. They did a great job cleaning the interior and exterior of my vehicle. In addition they did my front grill repair in 3 days which is by far the fastest repair I've had on this car thus far. Great staff, fast repairs and excellent service overall. I'm glad that TD insurance has partnered with this auto shop for repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to the TD insurance in the SE before and this time my adjustor booked me in with the Chinook location. Everything is super convenient and I only had to wait 1 week to get my car booked in. Once the appt is booked your rental is booked for you so all you have to do is show up for your appt, drop your car off and pick up the rental (all same location). It did take longer than the 3 days initially predicted but this was because the original aftermarket bumper ordered did not fit properly. When I called to follow up, I was given all information and updated on what was happening with my vehicle. I picked up my vehicle yesterday and it was VERY noticeable with how great it looked after. They did a great job cleaning the outside/inside, even the tires stand out! The repair job was also done well, I can't even tell it was replaced.

Took a week to fix a scratch on a rear bumper, charged 1600 dollars to the insurance company and broke my car key and argued that they won't pay for a new key because I complained about how long the fix took. Installed parts and replaced extra parts. Unprofessional and total scam of a autobody shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got myself in a little fender bender so TD insurance recommended me to carstar Chinook the staff here were just amazing all smiles. customer service was on point very helpful the techs that worked on my car did a excellent job even the detailing that was done I didn't even recognize my own car. If anything car related insurance or not I will be coming back to carstar Chinook for excellent service with peace of mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TD Insurance recommended this Auto Body shop and I wish I never went there. Absolutely horrible general management. Had my vehicle for 15 days and returned it with a broken windshield. Had the general manager inspect the windshield, what an ordeal, he is such an insecure and emotional guy, hot headed about how it's not their fault, how they are not paying, very unprofessional. I finally calmed him down, what a child. He was much happier once I told him I have comprehensive glass coverage. I feel so sorry for anyone that interacts with him on a daily basis.
Shout out to Hilario he was super helpful and polite, excellent person to deal with.
