She sat me down, offered me a whiskey (yes you read that right) and conversation flowed. Not sure how but JoJo took 10 pounds off my face with a beard trim. Just the most pleasant and capable person I’ve come across with scissors and a trimmer. You have a new client for life. Thank You!
J	Jenan Kadura on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID AVOID AVOID, I was simply looking to get my colour refreshed with a solid colour dye. I came in for a solid brown colour and it wasn’t the colour I wanted, I came in the next day to get it fixed and it got worse. They had to re dye my hair three times and bleach it and I ended up leaving with red hair, my hair wasn’t even properly washed with dye on my forehead. My usual Salon was booked to so I came here and it was a huge nightmare. I wasted my time and money, They wouldn’t reimburse me either. The hairstylist who helped me out was kind but needed help, it was only after the fact that I left and expressed that I wasn’t satisfied with my hair, they offered to fix the mistake on day two with a different hair stylist. The “manager” Kaitlyn, refused to offer me a refund and wanted to fix it a fourth time after all the damage. The owner also avoided dealing with the situation, standing by the sidelines. I hate to see it come to this when this could’ve been fixed with a simple refund. I do not recommend this salon to anyone, do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere.

I ask for him every time, and he has consistently delivered a haircut that I am extremely happy with, that looks good for a month or more after my visit. I love the new layout with the bar, even though I have never used it I find it extremely interesting and it really adds to the vibe of the place. I have never heard of a Hair Studio with a full bar inside. They have been shuttered because of Ontario COVID-19 restrictions, but they have been able to avoid closing for good for now, and I pray they never have to. Will be making an appointment ASAP now that Ontario is allowing them to reopen, and I highly recommend that any man looking for a high quality, affordable haircut do the same. (I can’t speak for women’s haircuts)

The hairstylist already tried to fix the issue on day two, and left her hair orange. These are the results. We asked for a refund after day two and instead we kept getting offered to fix it a third time. I don’t think colouring and damaging the hair even more is a solution. I simply asked for a refund but that’s not option apparently and that’s considered threatening? I understand how business is ran but there should always be some reasoning. Hope this finds you well.

I asked her I wanted to trim couple of things and she said i can't do anything its they way your hair is. Took hefty tip but no satisfaction. Salon was closing or she was fi Islington her shift .. dont know but would not recommend again .

M	Mona O on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is ridiculous. I’ve had a bad experience years ago so I stayed away for a while but I gave them another chance because it was just a cut. BIG mistake. I got charged over $300 the first time, and they totally fried my hair and it looked orange. I was mortified. I went back recently just for a simple cut. I had already washed my hair so I told the lady for no wash. Basically all she did is trim my hair and straighten a few pieces to show me the cut. I got charged $80 just for that. No wash, no style. It was the most basic cut and took her maybe 20 mins. What a freaking rip off.
