J	John Royds on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I looked up the reviews for PHD just for the hell of it and couldn't believe the negative posts...personally I find them suspect. Starting with the receptionist I have never experienced anything but true helpfulness. I can only speak of the people I'm familiar with but my experience with Joe and Nick has been totally positive!! Brooke is now my go to stylist and she is for me purely and simply the finest. If I could award 6 stars I would. Ignore the negative reviews and you will be rewarded with a GREAT experience!!!

I deducted one star because I think their cleanliness could be a bit better. I've noticed build of hair on one of their intricate giant mirrors and I would appreciate it if they dedicated some time to detailed cleaning. I will still go back there but it's just my one criticism.

If I come in with a cut/colour idea, we talk it out and Shannon sets my expectations and modifies if necessary, based on what will work with my hair texture, face shape, and skin tone. When I have no idea what I want, she gives great suggestions and my hair always comes out looking great. She's taken me from long layers, to pixie cuts, to bangs, and everything in between over the years. Highly recommend Shannon to anyone and everyone! In response to other (older) reviews, I'd like to add that they did some renovations recently, and the lighting has changed. Also, the owner has always been very nice to me :)
G	Gargi Daga on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to LISA for laser sessions. She is just amazing inside out. I love her work. I was very nervous for my laser session. She made me calm and make sure i am comfortable. She told me each and every single thing that she is goi to do. On top of that, every second she was asking me if I am doing good. I just love her services. I highly recommend her. She followed all the protocols for Covid situation and she sanitized everything in front of me. Experience get better by the services.
A	Abdallah Muhammad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only reason I started going to Pure Hair was because of Brooke, she always open to new ideas and I love her attention to details, I have very thick hair and I really can't do much with it but Brooke will always comes up with different ideas to out a new twist to my hairstyle. The staff at Pure Hair are very friendly and they follow COVID guidelines really well, everyone in the building is wearing a mask and they wipe down the chairs, debt machines before and after they have been used. I have been going there for few years now and don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I drive all the way from Kanata everytime I need a hair cut.
r	rand shabib on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very BAD treatment by Lisa for lasor hair removal !!! Charged me $140 for no show. Even though I clearly told her I woke up with COVID symptoms and left a voice message very eatly in the morning. She didn’t care at all and all she said is that I confirmed my appointment and she said “you were just fine the night before when you confirmed how did you wakeup with symptoms” !!! She says thats her policy, but her policy was also that I get consistent appointments. Which I didn’t get due to covid and thats understandable, but she should be considerate with her clients just like we were when she was closed. As I tried to explain to her the situation she carelessly said “I have no time for this honey, if you don’t like my policy ill cancel your appointments” I couldve showed to my appointment with my symptoms and not lost my money if I wasn’t considerate of everyone in the salon. Very disappointed in her caring about her lost “30 mins” over everybody’s health ???

I was very nervous but Lisa was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. She talked me through the whole process and i will definitely be recommending her to family and friends.
