Not a bad station; it has a good bridge for those coming from the other side of canyon meadows and they have quite a few bus routes too.

Escalators break often, but the elevator is usually OK. There seems to be climate control(AC/Heat). Usually not as busy as other stations. The parking is on the east side of the road, and you need to cross the bridge to get to the train station.

Parking is limited though you can usually find a spot inside after 10 am weekdays once the reserved ones open up. You can also park along the street for free in certain locations. The parking lot nearby where the theatre and gym are also rents parking spaces now for a fee. I think it was $100/mo last I saw. From what I can tell you need to arrive before 7am for a spot in the parkade. Maybe earlier though.

It's heated inside which is nice compared to some of the stations in Calgary, but they need heated shelters outside. Also a pain to get parking: they've got a small section of free parking that looks like it fits about 30-40 cars but if I get there 10 minutes after 8 it's either almost full or completely full. Plus by the time winter rolls around the number of available stalls drops significantly. Wish the stairs walking out of the parkade didn't smell like urine.

It's a pretty good train station, but the escalators are ALWAYS broken down. There is about an 80% chance one of the escalators isn't working. And when you're taking Somerset, the only way you can catch a 3-car train is to walk to the middle/end of the platform, so that kind of sucks. It is nice that it's close to where people are living though -- great access for suburbia.

First time checking this station and what a lovely entrance I found! Just after a walk in fish creek park...

Though easy enough to access if you are ok to walk as the bridge takes you over Macleod trail. So you do get to avoid waiting for the railway train, like at Anderson or Heritage Stn. There are afew spots for parking. Seems to need many repairs, chipped and broken tiles, missing edge in steps. The escalator is often not working but they do have an elevator. I think there might be issues with car break-ins / thefts at Canyon Meadows LRT stn. Even saw a shell case there once.
