About Canine Addiction
Fury has several trick titles, participates in barn hunt, and passed her herding instinct test. Yes, she can herd sheep!
In 2017 Fury and I started competing in agility. We’ve had a lot of success together in a short amount of time. Fury was the 2018 and 2019 Canadian UKI National Agility Champion in her division. We participated in the 2021 and 2022 Alberta Agility Regionals events and placed 4th and 2nd overall.
Already this year Fury and I were selected to represent Team Canada at the 2022 World Agility Open held in the Netherlands for the first time! It was a great experience and we were beyond grateful for the opportunity to strut our stuff on the world stage.

โ โ โ โ โ Canine Addiction is the first puppy daycare/ training facility we have been to. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars because everything there from the staff, to the cleanliness of the facility, to the way they handle our fur babies is phenomenal. Thank you to all the staff at Canine for putting up with our crazy puppers. Summer and Tully absolutely LOVE attending daycare! Summer is our baby and we have all learned to much from their beginner puppy class I would recommend it to all owners of young pups whether you've had dogs before or this is your first fur family addition. We are so looking forward to getting our older pup (2.5 yrs) into some more advanced classes. Every time we pick them up or drop off for daycare we are greeted with smiles from the friendly staff. I appreciate the detailed conversations at the end of the day on how we can work with our pups better to make them safer, happier and well behaved! Please if you are looking for a place for your fur family members take them here.... you won't regret it!

โ โ โ โ โ Our new puppy is in the process of completing the Elite puppy training offered by Canine Addiction with Sarah at her facility. We have been so impressed with how Sarah's positive reinforcement approach has already set up our puppy (and our family) on the path to obedience success.
We are only half way through the program already (3 out of the 6 weeks) and have seen our puppy grow leaps and bounds in training commands. Hands down, the personalized approach Sarah has offered with weekly report cards, videos, one on one progress session, and daily communication updates about how the day has gone for our girl has exceeded our expectations. This is exactly what we were looking for to establish good manners for our puppy while also having our pup engage with other people and socialize with cute feline friends!
Highly recommend you checking out Canine Addiction facility for your lovely fur baby! Clean, friendly, professional, caring, attentive, compassionate, and friendly staff who all want the best for your dog.

โ โ โ โ โ My dogs love Canine Addiction! We have used the facility for agility practice and winter playtime. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The space is super clean! The classes are well organized, provide good instruction and great ways to teach me how to train my dogs.

โ โ โ โ โ Iโm so impressed by how Sarah and her staff run this daycare. You can be sure that your dog will not only be well supervised, but also that they receive quality attention, enrichment and training in a very clean facility to boot.
Iโve seen my dog, Gus, benefit and grow so much from the day training options here. Sarah and her trainers are super patient with him and take time to equip you the owner with the steps to carry out the training at home. Theyโve always been super transparent about what goes on during the day and how they run the daycare which I really appreciate.
If there is an option for daycare during weekends please let me know!

โ โ โ โ โ I started with Canine by taking my dog for some classes, they were good and helped a lot. Now my dog goes 1 to 2 times a week for daycare and she loves it so much, I tell her ok in the morning when I'm getting ready and she knows where we are going, even starts getting excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. Sarah and her team are great, my dog loves them and loves the daycare. They even offer exit baths, nail care and some additional training! Highly recommend!

โ โ โ โ โ Really great beginner puppies. Similar to what you can find online but having your puppy exposed to other dogs is a great way for them to focus on you while you train them. Its a VERY beginner class so be prepared for this. Puppy Socials was also excellent, classes can be a little longer as they are only 45min.

โ โ โ โ โ Canine Addiction is a great place to learn agility! We started with their puppy agility class, just as something fun to try and my puppy and I loved it. We recently completed Beginner 2 and we are hooked and canโt wait to trial someday. Sarah and Taylor are extremely knowledgeable about the sport and best practices for teaching dogs and handlers. I love how responsive they are to individual dogs, and how they can adapt to different needs. My puppy has a nervous temperament, and sometimes she would only sniff a new piece of equipment and both Taylor and Sarah were so great at helping build my puppyโs confidence. Itโs all positive reinforcement and so fun to see all the dogs in our class gain confidence and build new skills. The instructors bring their experience in agility with their own dogs to their teaching, which is really helpful for those of us wanting to one day compete in agility. I highly recommend Canine Addiction if you are looking for a place to start your agility path, or even just a low-pressure way to check out the sport/try something fun with your dog for a few classes. The instructors at Canine Addiction are really supportive and encouraging, nothing but good things to say about them!
