★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall it was a super hotel stay - the room was clean & modern. The only hiccups were that the thermostat in our room seemed broken, it was very hot to start and I had to turn on the A/C (in Jan!) in order to cool the room off. As well, the hot food on the breakfast buffet was somewhat bland and not super appealing, we didn't eat it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We traveled as a large group for a hockey tournament. Hotel was clean, comfortable and accommodating. Staff were welcoming of our group which could get rowdy at times :) Breakfast was good and the rental of the conference room was great for the group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was excellent, the welcome warm. I was pleased that breakfast was included, but really, the breakfast was not very good. Coffee served with coffee-mate? There was a dish with hash browns, scrambled egg and something that I assume was supposed to be sausage of some kind. There was no indication of what that meat product was (assuming there was some meat in it) and it left me somewhat concerned. The eggs were flavourless, quite poorly done. The fruit compot to go with the yogourt was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay with Canalta; the hotel was quite, clean and comfortable.
The swimming pool is small but the kids loved it, specially that it has a water slide. Also the breakfast buffet was nice with a good variety of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Receptions was tastefully decorated for the upcoming Christmas season. The staff members working reception was very polite and gave clear instructions. There was always warm coffee available in the lobby. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable and the pool and games room was great fun for the kids.
Breakfast was above average for a buffet style hotel breakfast and the lady who worked there was very friendly and kept everything running smoothly.
Check out was super easy.
I also want to thank Bobby for helping me out when I booked the room for the wrong weekend!!!
The only small personal issue for me was the somewhat loud fan in the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that bothered me about our room was the shower. It sprayed so hard that it hurt my skin. We had a great stay anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We attend a few summer sporting events in the Brooks area each year. The Canalta Brooks property is our first choice for accommodation. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Bed linens are soft where you can cocoon for a good night's sleep.
Breakfast is plentiful and tasty with lots of variety. The coffee is "always on" and they even provide REAL CREAM!
This is a well maintained property with lots going for it. For these reasons, I'm able to give the Canalta Brooks a 5 out of 5!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel and the room was clean and well maintained. The pool was good except the shower was ice cold water. The breakfast was nice but they ran low on food long before breakfast was supposed to be done. As for the staff, trying to find someone who appeared to be happy would be a struggle. They all seemed angry at the world, or at least the paying customers. But the location was good for getting on the main highway quickly.
