We ordered two patio sets that were half price online. The store had four in stock as they were selling out fast. The order was confirmed. My girlfriend even called to make sure that they have it as we were burned before showing up to a store and the store having sold what we ordered. They confirmed that they have it and that they are holding it for us. I was about to go pick up the two sets later that day when I got two emails stating that my order has been cancelled. We called the store. They told us that they found out that they actually did not have the patio sets as they were sold out. We complained about the situation. We spoke to the manager and he said that they actually did find one just now as it was hidden somewhere. He told us to order again online. As we attempted to do that we weren’t able to because it states that none were in stock. The manager asked us to wait. As we waited he hung up for some reason. We called back and had to go through the same waiting process to get to the manager. Maybe he thought that we wouldn’t call back. He than mentioned that someone just took the last patio set. This is the set that he said was there. So, in a few minutes someone magically took this hidden patio set. It seems that because these patio sets were selling like hot cakes, some employees took advantage of this by possibly getting them for themselves or for family and cancelling orders. Why not? It wasn’t explained to us why this was happening. They were apologetic but it didn’t fix anything. Very shady and no trust. Very disappointed.

My husband SUV won’t start while he was driving in the highway and was towed by Canadian Tire service department.. then they diagnosed what’s the issue and they said it’s only battery.. so my husband paid for diagnosed, battery and towing services.. it cost him a lot of money.. then the next day he is going to work it won’t start again so we better go to Barrie Chrysler in Dunlop Barrie .. then they only charged us for relay and labor.. Now we are happy that the SUV is now in good condition.. Just wondering we got charged for diagnosed and yet they didn’t find that they need to replace the relay? We will not go back in this location anymore..

I was unable to find a replacement part for my kitchen faucet having tried Home Hardware and Canadian Tire in Innisfil and Home Depot and Rona in Barrie Finally it was 7.30pm and I decided to go to Canadian Tire on Mapleview west of Hwy 400 in Barrie. The female working at Customer Service was very helpful and checked her stock on her computer to no avail. She apologized and asked me to wait while she returned with two large boxes with a variety of parts. I was so impressed when she picked the same part. I was very impressed with the trouble she took to make sure I was satisfied .She called her superior as the part would not scan the barcode. She said there was no charge and gave me the part. I recommend anyone to shop at the store as the staff were very obliging and in particular the female at the Customer Service Desk. I apologize I did not ask her name or I'd. Thank you.

Called in for a service appointment to get a battery light and check engine light looked at. I am a mechanic myself, but i don't have the time or space to care for my own vehicle. I told them on the phone specifically what i wanted checked, that I had previously changed my alternator on multiple occasions and the battery issue didn't go away, and to please check the wiring between the alternator and the battery (overcharging issue.) Appointment was at 9:30 am, brought the car in, spoke with the service rep and again stated i wanted the wiring checked because I already know it is overcharging, having done the testing myself multiple times over. An entire day goes by, no call back. I called the next morning and they still don't have the car out of the shop...for a battery light and engine light diagnostic? Okay... I went in myself to go and get the car and I am told that all the mechanic did was check the alternator and states that it is overcharging and obviously not functioning properly. Total disregard for my statement, total disregard for anything that was written on the work order papers, and I paid a whopping 220$ to find out what I already knew. And they charged me for a check engine light diagnostic but told me there wasnt anything there...still made me pay. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Especially if you are a female, I've been taken advantage of at car shops too many times to count, I thought this place was different as I made SURE to state EXACTLY what i wanted done, and they still did not do it. Waited 30 minutes for the mechanic to finish his paperwork so he could drive my car out of the shop, when I finally got inside it wreaks like gas and filth. Spent another half an hour in the parking lot sobbing. Disappointed and feeling taken advantage of.

Always able to find what I'm looking for. Lots of selection. Great prices. Just wait for one of their flyers and you'll get it great deals staff for friendly. Never had a bad experience there. I usually go to the mapleview location.

I was at the Barrie south end location today to purchase some fishing gear. I wish I got the guys name who helped me out. This guy was awesome. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'm looking forward to getting out on the lake even more now. April 10 2022 early afternoon

Went here to purchase kayaks. Got a decent deal on them and they are great, $1465 for 2 which was really good compared to other places for similar kayak. Customer service was awesome, told the guy what I wanted and he went to get them while we paid and met us outside to help load them into my trailer. Would recommend.

Store is good. Staff are helpful. Bathrooms are filthy. Sunday morning at 10.30am - no excuses for this. They did attend to it when told but it is a regular occurrence. Could do better.
