G	Gundy Hajcman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to buy painting supplies last week. No one was behind the paint counter, so I looked for an employee and asked if I could get some help. I waited a few minutes and a paint Dept employee asked what I needed. I asked for a gallon of paint, to which he replied, " hang on a second." He grabbed a tissue and blew his noise, facing me. Plexiglass or not, turn around or do it before you help a customer. Once the paint was mixed, he left it on his side of the plexiglass, in front of the opening and said, "there you go" and walked away. The opening is way too small for a gallon of paint. I had to walk around the counter and get it myself. Customer service from this employee was awful. He was not a young teenager but a man mid to late 50's. Possibly older. The only reason I am stating that is because I was in earlier that week for colour swatches and a young man was working the Dept that day. He was very, very pleasant and asked me to let him know if he could help.
L	Laura Wilson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually love going to Canadian Tire but when I went with my grandchild this week we were met at the front entrance and at the checkouts with the horrific glue traps that are banned in many countries. Canada has not banned them yet but many stores are no longer selling them, Walmart being just one. Please stop selling these henious traps. I made 2 complaints to the store but was told that they paid for them and the owner wanted them right at the entrance. I am very disappointed in Canadian Tire.

You don’t see young staff like that anymore. He was always awesome and happy to joke.

I’m reading other reviews about not letting people come inside with a mask, I love that about this store. There is absolutely no reason someone can’t wear a mask in public or really ever at all. If someone can’t handle having a thin piece of fabric across their mouth then they can get the order pickup outside or delivery right to their house? Stop complaining because you can’t grow up, find another store if you’re so offended. Don’t change CT, keep fighting strong!

Now, even with the mask mandate gone they still have a masks recommended sign. Aside from that, the location is still quite small and does not carry as much stock as other locations do.

She got them all done for me, her attention to detail was very much appreciated, alternating colours of ribbon and curling them. Fast and efficient. THANK YOU!

One week later purchased almost exact same tree at Lowe’s for $100 and planned on returning the unopened boxed tree purchased at CT. At the time of purchase, cashier did not inform us of the return policy for Xmas trees which we now know are final sale after Dec 18. We ended up returning the item on Dec 29 as we had to shelter for covid just prior but simultaneously believing we had 30 days to return the item. Despite the circumstances, Manager refused to return the item. Thinking twice about shopping at CT again. Dom.
