Ridiculous hours of operation. Drove 45 minutes to get there just to find out they close at 8 PM. Good thing there was a Home Depot nearby and I ended up getting the product cheaper.

I usually try and buy local but when I went to Canadian Tire to buy a snowblower yesterday I had nothing but problems. I was informed by the employee on the floor that I should take the UPC barcode and information up to the cash to purchase this item. When I get up there the young girl working at the counter informed me that they would not bring in the snow blower for me and that I would have to go to another Canadian Tire to get it. She said it wouldn't be worth it for me to buy it online and have it shipped since it would cost too much for shipping, this I couldn't understand. When I got to my car I decided to go online and see about purchasing the snow blower for myself. I was able to purchase it no problem and with free shipping. That's usually how it works when you order a big ticket item that you don't have to pay for shipping. I can see what people online shop these days because customer service is going out the window. By the looks of things I'm not the only one having issues at this place, other reviews are attached...

This Canadian Tire location is an absolute joke. Their customer service and local policies are awful and illogical. In contrast, the Alliston location is amazing! On numerous occasions the Orangeville location has been unable/unwilling to assist me, but when I then call the Alliston store they are happy to assist and deliver. At this point I will gladly drive a little bit further and give my business to the Alliston store as I know I will be met by friendly staff who are competent and willing to help.

This store will gladly issue you rainchecks, in fact that is what they should rename this store, as numerous items that I have wanted to get has always been unavailable. I have gone to Fergus CTS who seem to have the advertised items in stock on a more consistent bases.

A pretty friendly place to shop, even at Christmas. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. (Daniella on cash is in the running for the position "Nicest person ever!"). Typically everyone bends over backwards to help you find what you are looking for or to relate their own experiences with their products.....In short, they are friendly as heck!

Large quantities of stock, organized and clean. Friendly staff, always willing to help. Awesome food truck is a must if you visit this store!

Absolute worst Canadian Tire I've been in. No one cares. I came to get something they had in stock online. Asked 4 people where I could find it. They just kept telling me that another department has it "in the back" finally someone when into the back and nothing. Finally someone blamed it on poor inventory count from a 3rd party when the store was sold. That's pretty lame excuse. The store is totally disorganized. Isle numbers are missing. Product is everywhere but where it's supposed to be. Staff look like they are more interested in socializing then working. Not sure if the previous owners ran a better operation but I can't imagine it being worse.

Visited the store today to have winter tires replaced. I was on time and they immediately took the car inside and within 1 hour, the vehicle was completed. I'm very satisfied with the tires, work and pricing. I sat in the waiting room which was disgusting. The seats were greasy, the floor and carpet were very dirty, dust everywhere and the ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Come on Store Manager, take some time and walk around the facility to ensure the site is 100%. When the car was driven outside, I waited for the mechanic to hand in the paper work and after 5 minutes, I approached the counter. I didn't say anything and after another 5 minutes, I approached an employee and he told me the paper work was being printed but he didn't have authorization. Why would the Store Manager assign a person at this counter that could not provide customer service??? The second REP was with another customer, so I patiently waited, after another few minutes, I approached the first REP and he told me the paper work was being printed and he did approach REP # 2 about my paperwork. I turn my back and the the first customer walked away and a second customer snuck in and got REP # 2. I asked for Store Manager, I advised the Manager of what happened and asked him why a better system was not in place for customers, who has scheduled appointments to be dealt with within a reasonable amount of type. He gave me a blank stare. In his defense, I was helping other customers and he did approach the service desk and asked them to handle my paperwork, by now the Service Desk was empty. I provide these comments not as a criticism of the employees but a constructive criticism of the procedures and hope the Store Manager steps up his came and takes these concerns seriously. I have shopping at Canadian Tire since I was a kid, well over 40 years and will continue to support my local store
