L	Lynda Hallett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have shopped at this store for over 10 years. I was in the store June 30/20 and told the owner I was unable to wear a mask due to medical reasons. She didn't say anything. I returned to buy birdseed on July 20/20, making a special trip. She refused to allow me into the store, said, "our store, our rules." Told me I could go get some cash and she would leave my purchase outside on the sidewalk. Unbelievable! Update. I filed a complaint with the Human Rights Commission. Rather than responding with the truth, this owner chose to submit blatant lies about what took place in her store, and my call to her later.

I walked into the store today with a mask and sanitized my hands on entry as requested on the signage at the front of the store. I browsed some feeders and some of the lovely stock in the shop. As I was responding to a text from a friend, the male owner of the shop barked out that I was being very rude by being on the phone. I was stunned and he continued to say that I was jeopardizing his life during the pandemic by coming into his store. He said I was disrespectful and then told me to leave his store. A bit of advice, if you are uncomfortable with people being in your store perhaps you should close up shop during the pandemic. Beyond rude!!!

Not knowing anything about what to get, the lovely lady was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable. And I mean, who doesn’t love bird socks? Such a great store!

Definitely is my store from now on..

Owners were really helpful too with my questions and obviously care about the product they sell. Will definitely be buying my birdseed here from now on.

I went to return this feeder and it turns out, For the Birds has a "No Return, no exchange" policy.. There was no mention of this policy at the time of the purchase. She would not bend a bit. This store has zero customer service. Will never shop there again.

More importantly the birds love it! We have purchased 4 different feeders too and they are of such good quality, they can handle the demands of the many wild birds we have around our property and they have a long warranty. For the Birds is now our only go-to place for bird stuff. We love this place!
