★ ★ ★ ★ ★ May 12th 2022. Winter tires changed and stored and oil changed at Bowmanville Canadian Tire. They have been servicing my 2005 Saturn Vue every year since I moved to Clarington in 2012. I have never had any issues with the quality of their service. Thank you for your honest & great service and for helping me keep my vehicle safe and road worthy for the past 10 years!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to look at a plastic storage container. The one with 3 wide drawers.
I was expecting $30 to $45 NOT $54.99 + tax!!!
I looked at the seat belt clips. $9.99 + tax for a package of two.
I walked out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Canadian Tire store, everything's clean ,prices are great the only negative thing was there was only one cashier on duty and waited in line for 20 min .... not cool. Just too add this now the Owner of the store said he was sorry about the wait and wanted to know the date and time I was there so he could resolve the problem. That to me means alot as a consumer that to hey would even try to make it better . Thanks and will change my stars to 5 , keep up the good relationships with your customers it will benefit by you in the long run. Paul ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would not recommend for automotive service. Took vehicle in for squealing noise from front end and was told I needed pads and rotors. Then the next day I was told I needed calipers. Picked up the truck and still making original noise so $900 and it’s still not fixed. Taking it elsewhere now as they will never service one of my vehicles again. I would recommend everyone do the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This centre is the worst service centre I have ever experienced. Bunch of liars right from the desk to the manager. Did my brake check in another Canadian Service Centre and was due to change when changing my winter tires to all season, walked into store and told them, I need to change my tires and replace my brake. They gave me unreasonable price for brakes , told them to change only tires and forget about the brakes and they billed me for inspection which I already did and payed for in another Centre. They all lied that I never told them I already had the brakes inspection done before in another store. Have used several other Canadian tire services and they were pretty nice, but this place they are horrible and bunch of liars. I told the manager to play the camera at his spare time to be sure of what I said when I came in. If he truly decides to watch it, they should be ashamed of themselves for lying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was trying to buy something the app said they had but I had to go to the store to get it. Many people working and many people avoiding me. I asked one employee and she was quite abrupt and sent me in the wrong direction. I asked another employee and she was clueless but at least attempting to help. In the end I got left at a service counter that nobody showed up to and a few employees walked by while avoiding eye contact. I walked out of there without what I wanted and I won't be back.
They wonder why they can't compete with online stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find it concerning that every time I’m in that store and I have to ask an employee for help find something, non of them know their own store well enough to help/guide me.
That’s scary. Not even from a customer service perspective but from a safety perspective. I sure hope they know where the emergency exits are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped by the auto centre today to get my oil changed - Raj and his teammate were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Also let me know about the promotion going on for saving $20 on a synthetic oil change! Great experience and will go back in the future for car maintenance - thanks guys! :)
