This chain is getting ridiculous with self check out . They have 2 people standing there yet expect you to check yourself out. If l wanted to be a cashier l would apply for a job If your going to pay people to stand at check out then have a few cashiers to check people out and anyone that wants to self check out can at the other self check out

Great store with a good location. I have been buying products here for a good number of years. They always have a good inventory and staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Horrible. Staff clearly don't care. 3 hours at the location for blinds that were cut horribly. When we pointed out that the staff wasn't doing it right the answer was they were rushing to finish their shift to go on a date. When we noticed the edges of the blinds were frayed we were told to use a lighter.

Very disappointed in the experience level of service that I’ve received from the paint department. There was an older lady named Monica who was downright rude and disrespectful towards me when I was with my young child. She blamed me for her mixing the wrong paint colour and proceeded to argue with me, loudly, in front of several customers. It was condescending and embarrassing. I interacted with her previously and she comes off as irritated that you’re even asking her a question. Why are you even working in customer service if you’re so miserable?! I won’t be back to this paint department and would rather drive to Lowes in Oshawa for my paint. How disappointing!!! Do better, Home Depot!

Went in and was greeted by the Lovieliest older woman, proceeded to the flooring department where a group of associates were making crude and rash jokes with one another in the Kitchen and Bath Section. I did not even continue looking at the tiles i just left very upset with the words they exchanged. I went to the hardware section and a lovely gentleman named Rick helped me with cutting my key and then i was checked out by a young girl with dyed black and blonde hair and glasses. She was very cheerful as well, I will continue to shop here but please Discuss With your associates how to chat with each other on the floor.

My boyfriend and I were here on Saturday needing materials for our new sink/piping and I just wan to point out the AMAZING help and service we received from Les! We showed him photos of what the sink looked like and what we were looking for and he was SO helpful and patient. By far the best help we have received from this HD location (and we come often!) so please give Les a raise or extra paid vacation days because he truly deserves it and is a wonderful asset to your company/location.

Totally unimpressed! We purchased 3 closet sliding door panels in Sept 2021 and were understanding of the possibility that they may take a few months to receive the estimated arrival was Nov 4, 2021. We received an email to pick up Jan 21, 2022. On getting the boxes home we opened the boxes and saw that the order was wrong, of the 3 panels, middle one was to be a mirror but they were all solid panels. We tried repeated to call customer service and could not get anyone to answer in any of the departments so I had to take time off work to go into the store Jan 28, 2022. Customer service was very sympathetic and helped me sort it all out. They called the manufacturer and assured me that we would have the new mirror panel by mid February. February came and went, no email from Home Depot, tried calling again with no more luck than the first time I tried reaching them by phone. Decided I would give them a few more weeks to get my order corrected and tried again in mid March to reach Home Depot by phone...still no answer...tried every day for a week! Now we are in April, no email about our order so I take more time off work to go into the store. I arrive at 3:30 and wait at customer service then I explain my situation offer my merchandise receipt for special orders and she looks it up...apparently there is no record of my coming into the store at the end of January and no follow up with the manufacturer on the status of my order. So, I have to start all over and they go through the same steps again..they call the manufacturer, on hold forever, ? then the customer service rep, enters all the details into the system to ensure its done properly this time. Still waiting for some sort of solution from the manufacturer however, still on hold...Finally 5pm, I've been there for 1.5 hours and the customer service rep gets disconnected from the call...why, you ask? Because it's now 5pm and they are done for the day!! Still no solution to our messed up order...no way to reach Home Depot again unless I take time off work to go in again! I was assured that someone would follow-up on this tomorrow but I have very little faith in Home Depot at this point. Home Depot....Answering your Phones would help frustrated customers!

I have shopped for many years at this location and am always greeted with a professional helpful employee, particularly Dave, a manager in the Tool department, he is always helpful and eager to answer any questions, even if its not in his area. Dave takes pride and clearly enjoys his job helping others, a rare trait these days. Very much appreciated Dave!!
