★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always love shopping here. Be careful of electronic returns though. By asking questions they will not take anything back if it does not work with what you're looking for. Example being wifi boosters etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with the service. I ordered 4 tires online they gave me one wrong size tire. I went to store to change that tire they said we don't have same size tire you will have to for couple of days. I already installed other 3 tires its been 10 days i am waiting for my tire. Still they are saying we don't know when that tire will arrive. And the staff in the store has very bad attitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to go here three times over the past couple days and I must say even though things are out of stock, the hardware (nuts, bolts) are often mixed and not sorted, and they have lots of rules like the toddler carts not being allowed in the garden centre or outside or bathrooms (causing multiple terrible twos meltdowns to navigate) or SodaStream refunds needing to go through customer service (waiting in a long line to pay for things) or only the family bathroom having a lock on it so a pregnant lady having to pee has to go back and ask for it... Etc, I probably had 8 or 9 staff interactions and they were all super kind, patient, and understanding of a sleep deprived, fuzzy brained, pregnant mum with a toddler, some of them even going above and beyond to help me, and for that I am very grateful. One new trainee at the till got me a regular cart when I realized my toddler was having a meltdown that he had to get out of the car shaped one and I couldn't carry him and the purchases, even though she then had a line up coming back, another lady helped me sort all the bolts, another noticed I needed the bathroom key and rushed to give it to me versus me having to carry my little guy back again to ask for it, another tried to help by getting a green slip if I could think of the soil I needed instead of dropping off merchandise and going back with a separate cart to the garden centre, and a man helped me at customer service when I couldn't remember if I'd bought two items or one and worried I was scamming them but couldn't remember when I did the return. Lots of things make it complicated to shop there, nevermind with a toddler, but the staff were very kind and at the end of the day that gives you a nice feeling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So got a call I can pick up my garden shed. Find out I’m getting the display model, so it’s already been opened and put together. Told me they would wave the assembly fee, but I have to pick up as is where is. How am I supposed to transport a 6ft x 8ft resin garden shed? Even if it fit in my truck box, it is a wind sail that would get destroyed. Their manager refused to get their people to disassemble it. So not only did I apparently pay for a used shed, but now I can’t even transport it. Told them to refund me. Now I’m sitting on a 800 dollar charge on my visa for a bad managers ethics. Great customer service and marketing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a really decent metal detector from Canadian Tire about a week ago for a very good price. Very pleased with my purchase. The gentleman who sold it to me was very knowledgeable and helped me pick the right detector for what I intended to use it for. So ya I give Canadian Tire a 4 out of 5. Check out their pro shop if you're interested in purchasing one for yourself. Personally I recommend the Bounty Hunter Tracker 4 myself but there's lots to choose from so ya check 'em out.
