If I could give this location a minus rating I would. The Sunshine Coast is a small community with limited store/shopping options. Every time I leave this store, I leave un-helped by staff, frustrated with the lack of competence, organization and overall experience. This particular time, I took my daughter to purchase swim goggles which showed a quantity of 6 online. Upon arrival to a bomb explosion of an aisle, we looked and were unsuccessful. Once I found a staff member to "assist", who also was unable to locate them, and proceeded to tell me that I should order online b/c then someone will be able to look for them. .... ... I decided my time was better spent consoling my daughter who was disappointed by the lack of effort this person was showing. Canadian Tire Sechelt... Get better, or get out. You no longer have my local support. Amazon can deliver product faster then your "staff" can locate an item in your store.

Shopping in this Canadian Tire is like back in the early days of the pandemic, when there were empty shelves, no employees to be found and general chaos - only this store has seemingly always been like this. I’ve been going here since 2016 and there’s always been major issues. Online stock tracking and aisle locations are rarely accurate - if it shows less than 10 items in stock on the website, there’s a good chance there’s none actually in-store. It’s a crapshoot whether you’ll find it in the advertised aisle. Many of the sections have major gaps in inventory with whole product selections bare. Some areas are clearly neglected, like housewares, with tons of stuff never in stock and miscellaneous items in totally inappropriate places. On that note - their stockroom must be completely full, because they’re always ‘storing’ random inventory in the middle of the aisles on half pallets. On the plus side, the employees at customer service actually know what they’re doing and are very helpful, and there’s the odd employee wandering around that seems to know what they’re talking about and where to find things.

I don’t think I've ever seen an employee here who seemed happy, or even happy enough, to be at work. Management might want to look into why this is, and improve their experience.

Looks as if they have thrown in the towel at this store. No effort to merchandise anything, just dump it in the aisle. Most aisles are impassible and are hazardous to small children.

Got off of a long day at work and went in to pick up a couple things only to have a very rude greeting from a manager named Mike. I was told it was due to an incident earlier that day. If you are going to address customers or request things from them, please learn how to do so in a courteous manner. I have worked as a retail manager for years and, while we all have work stress, you shouldn't let it keep you from being professional and polite with customers.

Poor customer service once again. Product incorrectly priced on shelves stating a sale price. When question the chick at customer service she stated anyone can move tags. Not their responsibility to ensure coresct tags. Thats a suprise as theu work there. such poor attitudes. Only canadaian tire I have been too that does not take responsibility for incorrect priced items on shelves and doesn't honor the price

Too bad this Cdn Tire is run so poorly and they Never answer their phone which I call on numerous occasions to enquire whether they have a particular item. The store responses to customer reviews are “laughable” as they ignore the complaint. I’m going today for plants Wish me luck I’ll need it Why can’t you open your bathroom Upset

I have been to Canadian tire stores In nearly every province across Canada. This Canadian tire takes it for the worst store I have came across in Canada. To put it simple, there is no organization, look through the window at where they should be repairing vehicles. It’s just inventory overflow. Well I was waiting for ever to get service I watched a old man ask about purchasing tires. He was told he had to go online! This guy was in his late 70’s if I had to guess. Pure laziness and the store wasn’t even busy. Being that this is on the coast and options are slim theres nothing better than checking availability online, showing up only to find out they can’t find the items. At least the staff looked like they’re having a good time sitting around making small chat rather than doing there job. One fellow I believe named Dave was really helpful but apart from that experience this store in an absolute last resort. Ownership clearly has given up
