I am very displeased with the service I have received at this location. I even started refusing to come to this location for the service I've received. Unfortunately, my niece had an ultrasound booked and so I didn't have a choice but to bring her . We arrived exactly on time for the appointment and went to stand in the line to check in. The lady (Diane) at the front desk was very rude and short and we sat down to wait. She then called my niece in and I got up to accompany her and she said no she could go in by herself. I explained that although my niece looks old enough she's underage and should have an adult accompanying her. She said no, it was not necessary as consent would not be needed for her ultrasound. She said that we were late and they don't have time to bring me in. I said all I would need to do is walk in with her and so that doesn't make any sense. I then said it's fine and that I would file a complaint. She then started to change her attitude once she heard this and tried to be nice and invite me into the room with my niece which I refused and waited in the waiting room. All the times previously that I've come to this location my experiences with this same front desk staff has been negative. She's rude, she has a bad attitude and the way I've heard and overheard her speak to people is disrespectful. She's the one reason I refused to come back to this location and since this experience with my niece I won't even book her appointment at this location.

My 4 year old son had an ultrasound for his bladder at 2:30 and my doctor recommended to bring him here since the technicians are great with kids. We came in 15 minutes early and my son just couldn't hold it in anymore. She asked if he could sit and drink more water and told her sure since I still have 15 minutes. 45 minutes in and we weren't even called in. Horrible especially when it is a 4 yr old who can't bold his bladder in. Don't recommend anyone to bring their kids here. Just go to the nearest ultrasound place to you. Even if it's not for kids

Front Dest Assistant- Sophia was very friendly, cheerful and helpful to everybody. She handled everything perfectly in the busy environment. I liked the visit. Thanks Sophia, I hope you get promotion soon.

My daughter's KUB ultrasound is at 8:30 am and we waited for 25mins. We know the fact that it is so hard to hold pee specially for a minor patient. They should know that. Concern with the patients. I tried to talk to front desk because it's too late already. But she did nothing just say we will be accommodated soon. Not organized too. So unhappy for the experience

Came here to get my Xray, the receptionists were very welcoming, the place was really clean and the techs provide great instructions for the procedure.

The booking agent felt my requisition was serious enough to get me in same day I called. I was impressed with the care the booking agent showed. I had an ultrasound done for my Kidney's. I arrived on time and waited over half an hour past my 215pm appointment time. Ironic, when it was labeled urgent by the booking agent. The staff at the front counter were friendly but very direct and pushy. Like a factory moving product not people. The Technologist was the same way. Friendly, to the point, pushy and wanting to get the product done. I had only a couple minutes to figure out the gown. The procedure was through but kinda cold in the emotion department. I have read some of the other comments and want to say this. It's somewhat inappropriate when someone is a little late or has an issue it's a penalty or reschedule. However when places like CDC go beyond half an hour or more of an appointment time that's just part of the process. Maybe extending hours or taking less appointments would bring back a human element to the job and less factory like. Your location has a 2.7 google rating when others CDC locations are higher. In fact I believe it's the lowest rating in Calgary. Perhaps some reflection into what they are doing is in order.

If you are concerned about the low star rating of this location, please read my full review. I really don't know what all the complaints about staff or delays are about. This is my ABSOLUTELY preferred location for diagnostic imaging in the city, bar none. It is clean, staff are friendly and they work exceptionally well with frightened children. My only complaint is that it's hard to find parking and that is not something that they would have any control over. I come to this location 3 to 4 times a year for pain management injections, and my family attends this location whenever anything is required. To address some of the complaints I've seen, from a customer standpoint instead of an employee standpoint where it is required that you be polite. Sometimes, unforeseen circumstances can extend how long you wait. This is due to the fact that they are trying to take the utmost care of their patients. If you were sent for a "stat" test here, then it is not the same as a "stat" test at a hospital - if it were that serious, you would have been sent (get this) to the hospital. While the policy is that you would need to pay for missing an appointment, it is mostly a deterrent. I have had to reschedule appointments due to both illness and due to a sudden change in circumstance, and was not charged either time. Just be a decent human being and communicate if you need to miss an appt at the earliest possible time that you can. For those who feel that the system is rushed or overbooked - that is a fact of public health care. However, this location does a fantastic job making sure that you are cared for. There is 0 complacency in your care, and if they need to take extra time, they take it. Alberta Health still only pays them per patient, just like everywhere else. If staff seemed rushed or in-personal, it may be that they have had to deal with upset patients, or have things like we all do impacting their performance. There is a huge stressor with Covid 19 to ensure safety, and yet they have to deal with (likely on a daily basis) belligerent people refusing to abide by guidelines. Wouldn't that stress you out?

the receptionist was very rude in this location her name is Anita. my husband had an appointment for ultrasound and Aspiration he cant walk because of knee pain, i was the one who is giving info for my husband because i let him sit but this Anita told him not to sit down and he needs to get up to fill the form her voice was loud and we feel humiliated. and when i asked Anita if i can come with my husband inside she refuse to let me in because she said he doesn’t need assistance and she kicked me out and let wait outside the clinic not in the waiting room. I’ve been doing ultrasound in different CDC but this Marlborough location was the worst.
