★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be my favourite sushi place in North/East York. Recently visited and as soon as we walked in, we were told that “All You Can Eat is NOT an option”, which makes no sense considering it’s all over their pamphlets and website.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is a good option for AYCE on bayview av. Menu has a lot of options and food is fresh and well prepared. Even if you are vegetarian, you'll be well served with all the options they have. The service Could improve a little, very slow sometimes and orders get forgotten.

Short ribs were done very well, sashimi tasted good and if you like cream cheese, I do recommend the Fry Roll. Deep fried mashed potatoes are excellent, and you can also try the deep fried mash potato cutlet with curry sauce (the curry sauce was good). Calamari tempura was also good. I don't recommend the chicken skewers since they are hit and miss on dry/toughness. Deep fried gyoza is not good.
Service is ok, they never seem kind when reminding you that there is an extra charge for leftovers... but that was just for the first time we went with four people. The second time we went, they kept giving us food belonging to another table. They are very prompt in doing last call after an hour and a half, irrespective of how busy the restaurant is.
"Banana tempura" (deep-fried banana) goes together quite well with ice cream. The deepfried ice cream (mango) is good, but eat it asap because otherwise the ice cream inside melts faster since it's freshly deepfried!
