★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended a conference here for a couple of days so I have no insight or experience of the rooms. The food at the conference was good, but that typically is more a reflection of the organisers than the caterer. The service staff was kind and courteous in my limited interactions with them.
The hotel is located in the heart of YYC, right across the street from the Tower, making an ideal central location for business in town. Calgary is getting busy again in spite of the federal government trying to kill our energy industry so parking is a bit hellish around the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon check-in I was asked if I would require the room being serviced in my 2-day stay. I replied with an emphatic "YES PLEASE" as I love having fresh linen and a made bed at the end of a long day. I left for work the next morning and returned that evening only to find an un-serviced room with no clean towels. I received a call later that evening and went to write down a phone number only to find what looked like dried blood or red wine on the nightstand, when I neither bled nor had red wine, meaning it was still there from the previous guest. Gross.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely impressed with the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel while performing there as a DJ. As the owner of DJ Eddie Black, I found my experience there a great place for Corporate events. The staff we friendly and very helpful to assist me 100%, to get inside and showing me where I was to set up. Thanks again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great night here for our staff Christmas party. Room was nice and spacious. Bed and pillows were super comfortable.
The food was great for dinner and brunch the next day, however, it did take over an hour to get the food after ordering. Really not acceptable for breakfast food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm in town for a conference and as a Marriott member I chose the hotel based on its location to the BMO Centre.
As always, the staff are friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious, clean and quiet.
I had drinks and food at One18 and recommend trying their make your own smoked Old Fashioned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The recently renovated rooms were nice. The room was big however beds were a bit uncomfortable. The valet parking price was reasonable and I must to say that the service in the hotel was very nice, probably the best of all hotel. The pool was very big and there is a terrace which provides you with great views of the calgary tower. The location was very convenient, right in front of the Calgary tower.

Nice rooms, large space with a couch and view. Bathroom is large and spacious.
The facilities are good, nice lobby with huge fireplace and Starbucks, didn't eat at the restaurant, gym had sufficient equipment, didn't use the pool.
Staff are extremely kind and provide excellent service, helped with the gym, late checkout, parking. Also just nice friendly people.
Would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for one night during the winter -- the location is great, and the rooms were tidy and well laid out. They were bursting with amenities, but for this hotel, I was satisfied. There is unfortunately no lotion in the bathroom. In the King rooms there was a sofa which turned into a desk, which was a thoughtful design choice. Overall, good value for a clean and straightforward downtown hotel.
