Had an extremely hard time checking in as they didn’t have my name down for a reservation and even though I had the confirmation code and a room reserved they made me wait aside while they treated other guests to their rooms. It took us about 45 minutes to finally set things straight and get our room. Rooms were nice and clean however we reserved a room for 3 guys with a balcony and off the balcony we had a very poor view of the city all we could see is the roof of the dining area and the building next to it. No bible in the room which was very unfortunate. 2 big beds for 3 guys one of us stayed in the bathtub as they didn’t have any bigger rooms. Wouldn’t bring us a cot. I’ve stayed in lower rated buildings and had a better experience at the last place I stayed in Calgary had a pullout couch at least for the 3rd member of our party. Couldn’t go swimming in private even though we booked the pool, there was people eating and having brunch while we were trying to swim we ended up not going swimming. Overall not the best place to stay in downtown Calgary or somewhat close to downtown Calgary. However the pubs within walking distance had good food and service about the only positive about this place.

The staff was impeccable. I made such good friends, Faith at guest services was extremely friendly and profession. My Valet Robin & Devin were super polite and took care of anything I needed. I will definitely be going back my next stay in Calgary, to see my new friends!

I had the absolute best massage of my life at this hotel from Fred but that is the only thing that really made my stay OK. I had planned to go back to my room and order the charcuterie board that is on the "24 hour menu" since I hadn't eaten supper and had checked in later than anticipated. When I got back to my room and decided to order, I called the number it says too and no one answered- I tried 3 times. When I finally decided to call down to the front desk, the woman on the phone told me the kitchen was closed and gave me a lot of attitude when I tried to explain to her what was on the 24 hour menu. She then passed my call on to the kitchen where she knew no one would answer. The kitchen apparently closes at 830pm. So skip the dishes it was. My room was fairly standard, comfy bed but the bath tub was filthy. There was hair in it and the shampoo dispenser had been leaking and was all down the wall and into the tub making the bottom super slippery. The pool area looked beautiful but I never had the opportunity to check it out. I am not generally one to complain but this was my one night off from being a mom and trying to relax. I definitely wasn't impressed and actually quite disappointed.

Brunch options were absolutely delicious. Bring kids cos it is affordable with a variety of options. I would say the price of $34 for adults is a lot hence why people may go more for the menu. The atmosphere is clean and modern with a lovely ambience. My family came here to celebrate my moms birthday. We really liked our server Fiona. Very friendly and on time with everything we needed. Thank you for hosting us.

Took advantage of the All Inclusive resort package and found it to be very good value. Dinner and breakfast was excellent and our server Jean at dinner was informative and pleasant. Room was spacious and clean. Staff around the hotel were friendly. The couples massage with Tabitha and Fred was relaxing and wonderful. Thanks!

I stayed this past week at the Hotel Arts, and while we usually stay closer to the core, my partner and I opted for the Luxury Suite a bit further from the action. The location is great, near bars and a really great food hall. The rooms, while having some minor cosmetic damage, were spacious and clean. The pool in the hotel is a great add, and we spent a wonderful afternoon there. Overall, the staff are very friendly, and we think this hotel represents great value in Calgary.

I just recently spent 4 nights at Hotel Arts for my birthday and it was truly amazing. We got upgraded to a nicer room with a balcony and amazing view, the staff left us origami animals and lovely birthday note. The room was spotlessly clean and exactly what we needed. I love that parking was free and underground especially with the cold weather we’ve been having. The staff in this hotel are all so friendly! I cannot wait to come back!
