Buy-Low Foods

One of 2 places I do my regular shopping in town. Fresh cut meat from meat department, small but fresh produce selection, nice clean lay out, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Nearly anything you need can be found here!

Love being able to find such a large selection of Gluten free products. Store is bright and clean, staff are very nice.

I am NOT impressed with the service my mother received here today. I am not one to leave reviews or complain but this was TOO much. She was followed around the store while she was shopping. I can only assume that they were racially profiling her for being indigenous. She didn't say anything to the person following her, she just wanted to finish her shopping and leave. As if that weren't bad enough she got to the cashier and the lady had a disgusting attitude with her. My mother was at the counter, but was waiting to place it because all stores have different policies due to covid-19. The cashier didn't tell or prompt my mother she was able to put her things down. Instead she rudely said "Well?" My mother was the only indigenous person at the tills and the lady in front of her had put her purse on the counter to get her wallet and money out to pay. The lady at the till beside did this as well. But GOD FORBID my mother put her purse down to get her wallet and prepare her payment because she seen the other ladies doing this. The cashier snipped at my mother "That's not allowed." My mother apologized and explained that she was in pain. All she got back was "bags?" When it was time to pay my mother pulled out a fifty dollar bill and was grabbing more because the total was more than fifty. Instead of observing that my mother was getting more money out the cashier told my mother the total again, and once again it was rude and snippy. My mother is dealing with health issues and is in pain, so it took a lot out of her after a surgery to go out and grocery shop. My family has been shopping here since I was a child and when we lived on this side out town. I am DISGUSTED with how my mother was treated today. Completely uncalled for!

Great variety of products, including good gluten free products! The staff are generally friendly and the store is clean. Love the free boxes for groceries and the book box on the way out!

I like this local grocery store, clean, friendly staff, like going to pick up fresh salads from the deli, or daily single serving bakery items.
